Thumbs up for Warburton
Got to admit that I wasn't impressed with the appointment of Warburton, I'd never heard of him! Glad to say I was wrong, he's doing a great job!

Vintage Blues pictures and film
That was the first season (68/69) I went to home games regularly, I was 11.The first leg at the Bridge finished 5-0, with goals by Hollins, Boyle, Cooke, Osgood and Birchenall. The second leg at Cappielow ended 4-3 to Chelsea (Baldwin, Tambling, Birchenall and an OG). Despite getting hammered a few Morton players went on to play in England; John Loughlan, Tony Taylor & Borge Thorup (Palace), Preben Arentoft (Newcastle), Gerry Sweeney (Bristol City) and Joe Harper (Everton). Typical Chelsea, in the second round we drew 0-0 twice with DWS Amsterdam and got knocked out of the cup on the toss of a coin!

Your Favourite Prem player outside Chelsea?
Ryan Bertrand, Robert Huth. Always liked Steven Fletcher for some reason. Also like Charlie Austin & Charlie Adam. Needless to say, I f*ckin' hate all of 'em when they play against us!

Typical Tottenham really, they were cowards in the 70's and it seems they still are. F*ckin' w*nkers the lot of 'em!

R.I.P. Dave Mackay
Dave Mackay died last night at the age of 80. Mackay was a superb player, for Hearts, Tottenham, Derby and Scotland. Despite being known as a hard man, he was a brilliant footballer, and I feel priviileged to have seen him play a few times. When his playing career ended he went into management, and won the Division One championship in charge of Derby in 1975 in only his second season, a remarkable achievement. So sad to lose yet another footballing legend...

Best ever away performance.
1966/67, hammered Aston Villa 6-2 away, Bobby Tambling scoring five of 'em. I didn't actually go to the match (I was only nine), but watched the extended highlights on the telly, great game. Only downside was that we signed Tony Hateley as a result of his two goals for Villa that day! Man.City in 1984 is a good shout, proud to have been in that huge mob of Chelsea that night.

Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
Gerrard is an over-rated scouse c*nt, a nauseating whiny turd.

Hackett on refereeing standards
It's not just poor decision making, I'm convinced that some refs favour certain clubs. The authorities should investigate the possibility (probability) of corruption within the English game.

Chelsea Podcast
I've listened to the Chelsea Podcast a couple of times, and thought it was sh*te. The presenters sound like the type of middle-class twats that I detest, and are very prone to political correctness which annoys me even more.

Greatest Commentary/Crowd reaction to a Chelsea goal
Best I can remember was Peter Osgood scoring against Leeds in front of a Stretford End packed solid full of Chelsea fans (I was very lucky to be one of 'em), 1970 FA Cup Final replay.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Quite a few people seem to be concerned that Loftus-Cheek looks lazy off the ball. Might be worth remembering that exactly the same was said of Peter Osgood throughout his brilliant career. I'm not comparing him to Ossie, just saying that some players have this laid back style - Matt Le Tissier was another. Doesn't mean he's lazy or no good, let's just give him a chance.

John Neal
One of our best ever managers, always had great respect for the man. So sorry to hear this news, my thoughts are with his family. Chelsea fans from the 80's era will always be JOHNNY NEAL'S BLUE AND WHITE ARMY!!!

Wenger
Love the way the gooners are actually fighting each other at games now, seems the pro-Wenger contingent is decreasing rapidly.

Finally got it sorted by leaving it for a week or two! Thanks for your comments, much appreciated!

What period was our mob at its peak
Interesting question! 1970's When the Shed could be bothered to make the effort we had a great firm, but most of the time individual mobs went their own way. The Shed was taken regularly in the late 60's/early 70's by West Ham and Arsenal, mainly because we had no real organisation. Apart from those two home fixtures things were pretty quiet in the Shed unless some other mob fancied their chances, which was something of a rarity. I was only young then, but I took to watching home games from under the old North Stand, much more interesting! Away games in the 70's were a bit of a mixed bag, most games we'd take a large mob and nearly always try to infiltrate the home end. But now and then you'd find hardly any Chelsea had travelled at all and just a handful of us were there, but luckily this was pretty rare. Chelsea rarely took numbers to Old Trafford, Anfield or Goodison, which was annoying, though things picked up in the second half of the decade. A couple of seasons in Div.2 were great fun, and the mob started sticking together more, getting better organised. 1980's Times were changing, the old bill were starting to get on top of things and getting in away ends was more difficult. Luckily the Chelsea mob had a lot of game youngsters coming through the ranks, and we were taking thousands of chaps to away games. In Div.2 most home firms didn't want to know and were totally outnumbered, we had a great time! After our promotion in 1984 a lot of Div.1 mobs were taken by surprise by the Chelsea firm, they hadn't played us for a while and things had changed. I'll see if I can rustle up memories of individual matches from both decades later on. I stopped going in the mid 80's, when I moved away from London, so can't comment on our later mobs. In my opinion, I feel that our mob was at it's peak in the 80's, due to sheer weight of numbers, better organisation, and more bottle. That's taking nothing away from the 70's mob, and it's a close run thing. Personally I preferred the 70's, though I can't really explain why. Maybe it was more exciting because I was younger?

Steam
I play FM 2014 quite a bit, but last night couldn't access the game (which can only be accessed via Steam), which really pissed me off. Steam wouldn't recognise my account/password, so I opened a new account and tried again. Steam didn't recognise my new account though they'd just confirmed it by e-mail, what the f*ck is going on? Their 'support' is a joke, you just go round in circles. Anyone else had problems? Had to abandon my ongoing domination of the football world, and instead decided to conquer the known world via Rome: Total War. No idea if I'll ever be able to play FM again :-(

Areas you see a lot of Chelsea fans
In the 70's there was a small Chelsea crew from Kings Lynn, good bunch of blokes. Also a few Chelsea in Penrith. Quite a few dedicated Blues in Cornwall, my cousin and his mates regularly get to the Bridge, even got their own fan club branch.

Best players never to have won a world cup...
Yeah, Puskas is just one of many I overlooked. In my defence I was totally knackered when I made that list :-)

Ah yes, I do love a list! :-) Just reeled off those names as I was too tired to add my reasons
