  1. Being featured on Sky Sports 5 now if you want to relive it again :)
  2. A good signing to end what has been an excellent transfer window for us.
  3. The story of the Mackay texts is pretty shocking. Maybe Tan isn't crazy after all (or at least as crazy anyway)
  4. Job done. 3 points and on the whole, a good performance. We took the foot off the pedal in the second half but some of the football in the 1st half was sublime.
  5. TJB replied to loz's topic in Entertainment
    f**king hell, I'm speechless
  6. I've seen this on twitter, a quote from the Make Us Dream book (yes it's a separate book from They Dared To Dream). "After the final match of the season against Newcastle at Anfield, Rodgers walked back to his office with his family. He was asked when he had known the title had gone. Was it Steven Gerrards slip against Chelsea? 'No, no' he said. 'I knew when Jordan got sent off against Manchester City. I knew i couldn't replace him. But it's gone now. All that matters to me is that we made them dream'. Yeah, they had just beaten City but he knew the title was gone because Henderson got sent off
  7. I might be wrong, but it reads to me like an Arsenal fan posting a supposed conversation they had with a Chelsea fan (pathetic way of bigging up Arsenal and take a shot at Chelsea), rather than a back and forth between 2 people on Facebook. Either way, childish like you said.
  8. I hope they get relegated with him still in charge. That way he can't come out with any sh*t about he would have kept them up or can't lay the blame elsewhere, though I'm sure he'd try.
  9. Pardew at Newcastle might be a good shout. A bad start coupled with their poor end of last season could be the end of him there.
  10. Free out too. German keepers can do what they want at World Cups it seems.
  11. To be fair Oscar manufactured it, though saying that they're given most times.
  12. There's a lot of transfer business to be done yet (have City signed anyone?) but I'll give it a go anyway. With my Blue tinted glasses on I'll put us top City for 2nd. I think Van Gaal will get United back into the top 4 but I don't think there'll be a sustained title challenge from them. Arsenal will do what they always do, which is do well till February/March, fall away and scrape 4th. Liverpool and Spurs will push them close but will miss out.
  13. Xavi is probably leaving, but even at that you'll be swapping in Rakitić instead so still formidable.
  14. Reading an article about it on the Guardian's site it says the ref has to wait for the ball to finish it's natural path before declaring it dead. If it had crossed the line the next thing to decide would be did Vlaar touch it. Replays aren't conclusive though I don't think he did.
  15. Not just on Rawk either. I've seen other Liverpool fans on other sites posting idiotic stuff to defend him. One said it wasn't a big deal cos nobody was hurt or injured Thing is, considering it is FIFA, I wouldn't be surprised if no action is taken. Or at least nothing meaningful. Think back to the 2002 tournament. Big noise from FIFA on cracking down on diving and simulation, then a star player in Rivaldo does what he did against Turkey, and all FIFA do is give him a pitiful fine of something like 5 grand.
  16. Again???? If he was a f**king dog he'd be put down.
  17. I only caught the last 30 seconds or so. Stupid from whoever it was to try and put a cross in instead of keeping it in the corner. Fantastic ball from Ronaldo though, good finish from Varela too. Not a disaster for the USA though. Barring a big turnaround in goal difference they should be fine. Edit: forgot about Ghana. So maybe not so smooth for them.
  18. Not yet, still possible to get out of the group, but very unlikely.
  19. The only noteworthy thing Gerrard has done at this World Cup.
  20. Utterly sh*t defending again. Good finish though.
