Because Sarri plays a type of football thats going to enhance ALL of his weaknesses. Strong positional awereness, the ability to play quick and precise passes, the ability to receive and play the ball on in the same movement are some of the key aspects Sarri is looking for. Does this sound like something Bakayoko is capable of? I mean Bakayoko makes Zouma look like Beckenbauer on the ball

Zaha actually played most of last year through the middle as a striker, so if we get him it might well be because Sarri thibks he can play as a 9 for us. Sort of similar to Dries Mertens so it might work

I hope Sarri tries to stick him on the right. Just to see how he does and if he can play there. Would be a lot easier for him to get minutes there

Its a football tactic theory were you split the different parts of the pitch into pieces and players have different responsivilities depending on were the ball in is and were you are, the halfspace is the space that is between the wings and the center of the pitch. Off course not, dont be silly. I think he did ok, nothing more nothing less. Under Sarri I think he could be excellent as he has the ability to both play it long and accurate as well as excellent short distribution. Courtois is awful at anything besides punting it, could see him be a liablity this year

Ahh goalscoring statisics, the most accurate way to judge a player. I still remember the season we sold Oscar that we had an argument on how he was better than Coutinho and Isco based on the same kind of stats. Or the time you claimed Bamford was every bit as good as Harry Kane because he had better championship stats.

Courtois is such a poor fit for the way Sarri wants to play, that I wouldnt be surprised of he doesnt care of he goes to Real Madrid

Zouma isnt getting 30 seconds of playing time time under Sarri

I think we will be seeing a lit more of this. Should be a fun season

He didnt play for France because Nouri ho doesnt think he works well enough defensively, but lets be real he is a hell of a talent. Think he could develop into a monster under someone like Sarri
