While Bale is expendable on their part in terms of on the field performances, I doubt the worlds most arrogant club would want to lose face by selling their most expensive player ever (at a loss or at best for what they paid 2 years ago), without them bringing in an even bigger name to replace them. And who in world football that doesn't play for Real, Barca or Bayern has the biggest name and potential value right now? Eden Hazard. And he coincidentally plays for the very club trying to buy said most expensive player off them to begin with. You could argue for Pogba but really if Real want to buy Pogba, they have no need to sell anyone to fund it.

Perhaps i'm not familiar enough with Koke, but is he not quite similar in style to Fabregas? Why would he come here to play on the bench? As i'm very doubtful that Jose would stick two relatively "luxury" players into the most important area of the field.

Depends on who would win the league if we weren't to. Unless it's someone like Bournemouth winning the league i'd rather us win the league and f**k the CL. Would hate for any of the Arse/United/Liverpool or even City now with their mouthy squad and coach to win it back off us.

Real have the worst fans in the world, even worse than Arsenal and that is saying something. I don't mind them as a club apart from that but would still much rather see Juve go through, hopefully it could spark a bit of a revival for Italian football if they were to win the CL.

Ashley Cole is one of the best left backs of all time, I doubt he'd lose a spot in that team for a very long time.

Just saw on article on the DM website where Fabregas is quoted as saying that Jose has an edge no other manager he's worked with before does. Interesting when two of his previous managers are Jose's arch nemisis's.

Ballack, Essien, Joey and Eidur would all deserve a spot before Willian. Can't really diagree with the rest.

He'll always be a Chelsea legend but I can't forget him going to City despite promising he wouldn't.

Before the away game against Burnley I had brief doubts about whether we'd win the title, I admit.

Won more trophies in 9 months at Chelsea than he did in 8 years at Arsenal.

In terms of trophies won, is he now the most successful captain in the history of English football?

The reporter said that it's amazing he played every second of our league campaign this season when 2 years ago some said he was incapable of playing twice a week. JT quickly replied along the lines of "It was just one person who said that, whoever that was I can't remember him."

I realised today that the last time we won the title was the season before he joined, and the first season after he leaves we win it again. Who knows how many titles in the last 4 years we lost through that.
