loz
Even without the goal I would have given it to JT today - probably his best performance for us in a season and a half. Running him very close was Lampard (and if I could award a joint MOTM I would have done) and I also think a lot of credit goes to Mancienne and Cech who I thought had fine games although Cech could maybe have done better with the equaliser. On the flip side I thought Ballack and Anelka were very poor today and were key reasons why we never extended our 1-0 lead and killed the game before they got back into it. Thank you Frank!!! PloKoon13
Agreed. Even before he scored I thought JT had been particularly solid. I didn't think much of Mikel or Alex today, either...
WoodmanBlue
JT was amazing today BUT i am on a Lampard high at the mo after that last min goal so gave it to him!
Lofty
JT or Frank Lampard, Frank Lampard or JT? Frank was our best player by for most of the second half and of course popped up for the last gasp winner .. JT on the other hand, cleared off the line, scored a wonderful milestone goal, even popped up on the wing! Has to be JT.

BlueBeard
JT for me, Lampard close second. I thought Mancienne did well too, and Anelka & Alex did some good work in the first half.
Modueke
Who voted for Anelka O__o I did, thought his control was superb in parts and think those that doubted him and Drogba could not play together are mad. Lampard great game, Alex great game, Drogba getting back to Drogba and JT outstanding.
blueday3
JT first half was pushing up, saw him down by the corner flag numerous times. Great clearance, some quality tackles, and the goal - Has to be.

Fair enough. I thought he was good when he actually appeared, which wasn't too often, as he went missing for long periods at a time. Drogba was a tank though. Nat
Actually my MOTM would have been Bramble :D Good result with the smoggies doing us a favour, puts us back to 2nd
TheWestwayWonder
JT was just too everywhere for me not to vote for him. Never looked rushed on the ball, and was on or off the ball leading by example, and commanding the defense like he used to. This is the Chelsea and the players we knew. HM to Frank, Drogba, Cech, and Kalou today

That to the letter. Anelka is a complete waste on the wing. He did f**k all today and I am not that sure thats entirely his fault. He is not a winger and will never be - he is a world-class finisher and the only moments he shone were when in the penalty area. Play him upfront, or don't play him at all. Orangutan
Titus Bramble. Without him we would have had a couple more. Seriously, though, Terry. He was everywhere. His tackles were precise. His volley was wonderful. Just massive all around. Lampard was tremendous, too, obviously. This would have been his if he would have put away one of his other chances. Fortunately, he put one away when it mattered most!
Ruh Buh Juh
Missed the game, but voted for Frank anyway as he scored the stoppage time winner (again!)! :D
charierre
Heads JT , Tails Lamps hard to split them, both gave good performances. Mancienne looked comfortable and gave a good solid performance. What has happened to Ballack? Not the same player as last year.
g3.7
thought it was a tired and flat performance from the side- thought everyone aside from jt and lamps was a 6 or a 7- no horrible performances, but certainly not many great ones. wigan good- high workrate and pressing made it difficult. lovely to see mancienne start and play alright, and to see some real hard work from anelka and drogba. ethicalstrategy
I went with JT. Overall we we very lacklustre. We only raised our game in the first half after a couple of mistakes and then again after their equaliser. Mancienne did OK, a bit nervous at times and N'Zogbia gave him the run around in the second half, but not a bad effort. In the end though we rather got away with it as Wigan played very well and probably deserved a point.
Paul Seery
I voted for Frank Lampard. He was just surperb and yet again scored when it really matter for Chelsea.
Chippy
JT for me and good to see him getting back to his best, Lampard continues his good form and good to see Mancienne doesn't look overawed in the Prem. Ballack back down a level from his better game last time, Anelka was a bit of a waste of space for long periods and if he is going to keep being played out wide I'd sooner give one of the wingers a chance and alternate Drogba and Anelka in different situations. again the performance was not good enough although we got away with it. coco
JT just for that scissor kick goal, can you think of a better goal scored by a center back ? Frank is without doubt our player of the season, yes I know its only March 1st, but he has been the most consitent player at the club this season. Feel sorry for Nico, top scorer in the league, gets pushed out to the wing by both Scolari and Guus then gets slated by the fans for poor performances. Mancienne, what a cool kid, can we nickname him poker face ?
ethicalstrategy
Missed the game, but voted for Frank anyway as he scored the stoppage time winner (again!)! :D Well that gives a very considered assessment! Ruh Buh Juh
Well that gives a very considered assessment! Why not wait until you've at least seen the highlights? Haha, I watched the highlights, but they didn't really show who played well and who didn't, to get an idea of MOTM you really need to watch the full 90 minutes. It seems 18 people agree with me anyway :D
