The plants in my office are looked after by a (Dutch) bloke who support Liverpool. Every 3 weeks he comes in and we have a chat about English football.

Although it's a Monday, I had looked forward to today, it being Plant Day again :P So when I came in, Plant Guy was already shuffling about in my office. I merely looked at him, clicked my tongue a few times in mock disappointment, and shook my head :P He didn't really want to talk about it, oooooooh, the joy!

He expects the Scum are going to lose 11 times this season, not counting Europe or the FA Cup, and he sees the positive side of the fat waiter keeping his job, "it's better for stability". I had to agree with him, of course, although for reasons of consistency (losing every other match is also being consistent after all). I piled on the misery when I mentioned owners being unhappy, yadda-yadda, money being tight, blabla, new stadium, blabla.

It's a good Monday morning :lol:

One of my friends who comes to the pub where I work here is from Liverpool, he came in Saturday and I tried to talk football to him as we always do and all he did was point at me and told me to shut up every time I tried to start up a conversation, lol. He knows I'm a die hard Chelsea fan and knew exactly what I was going to bug him about, although after a few pints he did allow a conversation that involved the sacking of Rafa

one of the sales guys in our london office is a spuds fan. usually i'm happy that he's not selling the products i deal with but today i would've loved to answer a few of his emails ;)

though one of my colleagues rejected his orders multiple times today because he f**ked it up again and again the same way - despite her telling him every time what the errors were. so a nice day after all, the spuds fan made me laugh all along. the best monday i had since ages :D

I'm very aware of the obnoxiousness of scousers, I've met enough to last me two life times over the years. But it's always great to have a few on hand when things go wrong for them, their whininess goes up several notches until they sound like a swarm of hyperventilating wasps.

Well being from Ireland its full of scousers one of my best mates is one to hes credit he goes to alot of games and he wont say anything bad about rafa just because they march before games to stop him from getting sacked but deep down he and deep down they all know hes a sh*t manager there nowhere near what they where as a club but they wont admit there wrong they never do.
