it'll be a tough tie if villa's second half performance today is anything to go by. we HAVE to get through, and as long as we do. for once in my life i'll be hoping for a tottenham win (assuming they get past fulham) just so we finally get the chance of revenge for '67, not to mention that disastrous league cup final a couple of years ago.

I dont think it is a coin toss. I am pretty sure the draw decides what colour kit you wear, hat dressing room you have and what end your fans are in.

We need to be on top form to get through this one. If we do and presumably Tottingham gets through, that will be one of the most nervous days of my life.

But first things first, a decent performance against Villa and i think we should be ok.

Not looking forward to this at all. I was very happy earlier to see Villa 2-0 down as they are hungry for this and we haven't exactly done too well against them in recent years.

On the bright side, it sets up a Chelsea - y*ds final, which would be quite a spectacle. It would mean I would have to kill myself if we lost, but if we won it would be ambrosia.

I agree with Clubhappy in that I'm not too bothered about the draw because I think we will beat Villa and whoever we may play in the final. I feel that we have crossed the Rubicon, and if anything was going to happen then it would have happened today.

Our performance was better than I thought it would be given our recent form and distractions.

We will be stronger from now on.
