Nervous Wreck Club

Featured Replies

Let's keep it positive in here folks.

Tough games ahead, we must return next weekend by unleashing a solid thrashing upon Stoke.

Also, we are all Spurs fans next weekend for 90 minutes.

We can still do this.

Ashley Cole is back, I imagine he will play ther full 90 minutes. Big Ivan will be in the mix to keep us tight at the back.

Chelsea 3 - 0 Stoke

I agree on everything but Ashley Cole. Zhirkov's been very good, one of the best actually. Would be harsh to punish him as he is on a such good run. Maybe give Ashley last 20mins or so.

After a big letdown like this weekend, we usually do bounce back.

And I will add to that, plenty of other titles won in recent memory have looked fated to be blown, only for the leading team to keep their nerve and do it. 2008 with Man U, 1991 with Arsenal, and 1995 with Blackburn are a few that spring to mind. Its often the case that a leading team falters late, but still comes through in the end.

The players need to just forget about who we are missing and realize the next three points are all that matters.

Its still in our hands no matter what, just win the last 3 and the titles ours....

Nevermind being Spurs fans for 90 minutes, let Man Ure worry about them, because if they play like they did against us and Le Arse, its 3pts for the Spuds, then we go to town on Stoke....

C'MON CHELSEA!!!!

Well im in a f***ing heap here all day , buying papers, browsing forums , anything to stay positive and this is going to be one very longgggggggggggg week. Already getting texts from Man yoo fans saying the usual, ha ha, you blew it but ive not replied .

Theres not a chance in hell Spurs will collapse , they have too much at stake and im already hearing from certain individuals how Utd have more bottle , total boll**ks, they had no bottle v City , they were sh*te and luck eventually dug them out.

The team needs to believe in themselves , Carlo is staying very calm after the defeat at Spurs , maybe a bit too casual , not sure if id prefer him to be throwing a wobbler , although maybe hes different with the players.

Think ill go to the pub later , or maybe just try sleep until next Sunday morning .

Come on Chelsea. :D

Im really nervous about the 3 games that are left, I hope to god we will win them, and hopefully utd will drop pts.

Blowing it with 3 games left would just kill me, really want the double this year aswell.

White Hart Lane has not been a happy hunting ground for us for several years now. The days of 'Six point lane' sadly seem to be a distant memory at the moment. Also Spuds traditionally do poorly at Old Trafford so I'm not holding out too much hope there.

We still hold our fate in our own hands though and we need to concentrate on our own game rather than worry about United's results. I can't help but feel we were affected by United's last minute winner on Saturday no matter what the players said before the game. There is every chance United will be ahead of us before we play on Sunday but we need to forget about them and concentrate on beating Stoke.

I still believe we can do it but the players need to step up and the fans need to get behind them.

Bad saturday last weekend - great saturday next. Spurs to beat Utd and Chelsea to thrash Stoke. Lead back up to 4 points. No problem.

I certainly hope you're right.

I'm nervous, but it's more of an anxious nervous. I just want the weekend to get here so I can watch!

Go Chelsea!

I'd be happy with a draw from the Red Mancs vs Spurs IF we could give Stoke a proper beating(in goal scoring terms). Three points gap at the top and a more convincing goal difference would be a quite nice result. Of course I wouldn't mind if it became four. ;)

Win on Sunday against Stoke and we stay at the top. Its as simple as that. If United drop points that is a bonus but we shouldn't expect favors from other teams.

Oh the worst week of the season ahead wish i could fast forward to sunday and be reading the Sunday Times and seeing that the spuds beat the mancs and fergie blames yet another ref and gets away with it.............dreams can come true,

If we can't get the necessary points from our remaining games then frankly we don't deserve to be champions. But we will because we ARE champions. Each and every one of us

BUMP!

This week sees further tension!!!

Let's keep it positive folks, it worked well last time.

:D

As Super Frank says, if we approach this game in a lazy and slow fashion, we will get nervous and will lose.

Up the tempo!!!
