Scott Sinclair scored his tenth of the season for Swansea today and hit the bar. Seems like he's found his level...

He has been very impressive in the championship, I wouldnt yet say that this is his level, he is still very young and maybe he just needed to start out at this level to find his feet in the game. I have no doubt that he will play many seasons in the premier league, maybe not at a top club but the way he is playing at the moment certainly wouldnt rule him out of being part of a top 7 side.

Kezman back on the scrapheap:

Former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman released by Paris St Germain

Paris St Germain have terminated the contract of former Serbia and Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, 31.

He has made just two appearances as a substitute for the French side this season.

Kind of sad for the lad, he was tremendous before moving here and honestly he could have been a real threat if he was linked with Robben (like they did in PSV and like they did in the pre-season in the States). Too bad he couldn't find any long form either in Spain with Atletico or PSG, he wasn't that bad in Turkey, but was never going to be the star striker for Fenerhbace.

I don't think Kezman would have been a threat in the Premiership even if he had Pele, Maradona and Zidane around him. A striker who needs to look at the ball when he is running is never going to do well against stronger defences.

I've heard that Ricardo Carvalho picked up a pretty bad injury during the Madrid derby and apparently can't see out of his left eye. I really hope that's not true and hope Percy turns out to be perfectly fine.

He scored the first goal in the match, a very tidy finish. Hope his injury isnt too serious

Didn't know whether to put this in here, or start a new thread in the Youth/Reserves.

Anyway, Burnley who were a goal down with 8 minutes to go, equalized and then our very own Jack Cork has just popped up with a 90th minute header

Great result for Robbie at Goodison Park today, I know Everton are a bit weak up front at the moment but West Brom are playing some good stuff.

On a side note I see the Ref sent Artetta off for a Stamp...bit of a stupid time to worry about getting a letter posted but I suppose the Refs decision is final :)

Boom Boom! Doesn't that mean he will miss the game against us next week. Good news if so.

Yep, I think it does...big loss for them I think, be nice to for Drogs to get back on track tomorrow and I think we should be ok judging by todays game.

Gronkjaer and (I think) Ben Sahar both scored in the Champions League tonight for FC Copenhagen and Hapoel Tel-Aviv respectively.

Should never have let them go...........

Eidur should never have gone to Stoke. Never suited him in the first place and look at the way Pulis has treated Tuncay. Thought i'd have got to watch him play again by now

All off 69 mins he has played for Stoke so far. Sad to such a drastic decline and he's still only 32.

Gudjohnsen wants to end Stoke spell

Eidur Gudjohnsen is ready to end his wasted spell at Stoke City - and wants to rip up his contract and find a new club.

Gudjohnsen joined Tony Pulis’s side from Monaco in a permanent deal before the last window shut, but he has hardly figured in the Potters line-up.

Now the Icelandic veteran is looking to get a settlement on his deal and leave in the upcoming market. His advisers are trying to agree on a severance payment.

Eidur's on his way to Swansea, according to the Mail:

Gudjohnsen heading to Swansea after failing to impress Stoke boss Pulis

Eidur Gudjohnsen will head to Swansea City this month after being frozen out at Stoke after only four months.

The former Barcelona and Chelsea striker is wanted by Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers, who knows the player from his time at Stamford Bridge.

Gudjohnsen, 32, has failed to score for Stoke in only five appearances and boss Tony Pulis has been disappointed by his overall fitness levels.
