Why not get rid of Higuain? Jovic is currently linked with Madrid & Liverpool, think we dropped the ball by not signing either or both Piatek/ Jovic this January.

Missing out on CL might be costly in the long term as there are loans of 9 potentially on the market. Add Icardi & Werner to the list of forwards moving.

Rather not go into next season with absolutely no experience up top. Higuain should be retained.

I heard Ac Milan might give us Franck Kessie in order to sign Bakayoko permanently. I hope our board won't accept that offer as Kessie himself is overrated. What we actually need is an attacking midfielder that can score goals. I hope we get all the 35m for Bakayoko and get someone like Isco, Madison, Fekir.

£18m loan or £20m to sign. Should we be doing either at that price? Isn’t this the  short term thinking that has gotten us into our current situation?

Piatek went for £35m, Werner is available at £50m, Jovic will be under £50m and  Icardi at £100m. Won’t it make more sense to any of those 3 instead of going for the short term option again?

Short term option where we know what we're getting with Tammy as the long term option.

Jovic is on loan currently at Frankfurt, is he not?  I think it would have made a January purchase difficult.

Not quite top quality for me.

Not good enough in the air and not quite quick enough.

Certainly a strong player and can finish well yet doubt his ability in a top team.

He's only 21, we've got Pulisic coming in the summer who's also 21. If we're looking to add another young winger to the ranks, why not just play Hudson-Odoi? 

I like him, can score goals an have good work rate, but not good enough to be in our starting line up consistently.

Turns up only the 1st half of the season, and fade in the winter time. Everton reportedly want £80m for him, not for me. Last thing you need is for your No 9 not turning up post Xmas with the games coming thick and fast.

Somebody who I think may be worth a look is Ismaila Sarr from Stade Rennes.  Looked very dangerous against Arsenal in their Europa match and scored a goal.

If say, Hazard were to go to Madrid and we move on from one of either Pedro or Willian, he would be a good young signing and would freshen up our attack.  I'd still prefer Pepe, but not sure how likely that is given that Lille's president said they have rejected 50m pound offers.

Has really bad knees though doesn't he?  Thought I remember that being a point made during the WC last summer.

We need a new striker. Lukaku apparently is available but we need a striker who can play the ball with his feet. Aguero would be perfect. Someone like him. 

However we also need the ban to be lifted. 

Talk of Utd wanting to sell Lukaku, if we dont get Jovic and looking unlikely we will buy Higuain, would people have Lukaku here?. I know he's not ideal especially for Sarri but he is proven to score goals in this league and we are desperate for a striker to score goals.

Lukaku is premium price player. Not a good choice in terms of style and strenghts. Not for us I think. Very similar to Morata who we already own. 

Wouldn't touch him with a ten foot barge pole. He smashed them in against bottom half teams for United but his record against the best is not great. We need a striker who can score against them all.

Agreed we do but its not that easy. We don't even have one who can do it agains't the bottoms side though.

A lot of talk about Jovic knocking around would take Timmo Werner if available myself personally.

Rumours of Leroy Sane will be requesting a transfer in the summer. With City having Mahrez, Sterling, Bernardo and probably another signing will be coming, Sane will be available (maybe).

Nicolas Pepe and Leroy Sane, plus CHO and Pulisic would be a great replacement for Willian, Pedro and Hazard (if he will leave).

Might be just a dream, but a realistic one.
