Agree, A Robinson is the type of smart signing we should aim for, rather than going for unknown 18 year olds, or 100M+ players from Brighton. How old is he? We seems to play the Too Old card pretty hard under the new regime.

He's 26. OAP in our terms.

Working on a move for Palmeiras' 16-year-old Brazilian Estevao Willian, with the winger's release clause reportedly set at £51m.

So, that's too young for now, Brazilian and very expensive, well, it's a guarantee that we will sign the lad.

Seemed to me the only Brazilian wonderkid worth buying was Endrick, who inevitably chose Real Madrid over us.

Kendry Paez looks good though.

Lad has so much aura. Everything he does looks iconic.

Not quite. He was lined up to come to Chelsea, Mr Boehly pulled the plug on the deal.

Christ almighty... It gets worse. So we prefer to sign 3 mediocre players than 1 who looks the real deal? I guess we wait to see how their careers pan out but that looks like a massive own goal at this point.

Not a fan of Robinson, he is having by far his strongest season, but personally from what I've seen over the last few seasons, I think he is rash, and makes loads of errors, but on his day he can really lock down his side.

Not good enough though for me, and at 27 it wont happen anyway.

We will roll the dice on a youngster from abroad like Dorgu imo.

Just seen we are ahead of Arsenal I  the race for Diomande as blue co are still looking to invest in sporting. Not seen much of him, looks quite impressive on youtube, but it's another 20 year old player, so looks like this policy is here to stay.

Especially if he is here to replace Silva. Disasi of all people would be our leader in defence.....

It was pretty widely reported at the time. Like here: https://www.chelseatrueblue.com/2023/12/endrick-chelsea-close-deal-agreed-guardian-interview-transfer-news-update-real-madrid.html

That's a strange one, we refused to sign a young Brazilian for above market price🤔 I mean how much we paid for the Washington guy, and he doesn't even score freely for the youth team. It's going to be another crazy transfer window coming up, on one side we need to sell to balance the book, then we will throw big money at bunch of kids as usual.

And so the papers say that Chelsea may have to sell some of our star players to raise cash to meet profit and sustainability rules this summer. We need to sell to balance the books. ok.

What is the deal here? Why is it so vague? We either do not have to sell players OR we do have to sell players. Anybody have the definitive answer?

When we talk about selling players the name Reece James comes up, but what would we get for him at this point? He would need at least a season playing in the first team without injuries for anybody to give us a serious sum of money for him AND he doesnt want to leave.

What other valuable players do we have to sell?

We already have £40 of profit from Hall transfer + Broja loan.

Gallagher - £40-50m

Chalobah - £15-20m

Broja - £10m

There is £100m of profit right there. It's next season I am worried about. Not this summer.

Next summer is sorted - £140m for Cole Palmer to Man City. Kid won't stick around a mid table team.

It's looking sh*t. The only sort of significant revenue I see for next season is the CWC. That's it. We are still projecting a massive loss without increasing broadcasting/commercial revenue.

The football may be dire, the results frustrating and the financial outlook absolutely horrendous - but at least we've still got Poch in charge.

Should we choose not to sell Gallagher what are our options? Cuucrella? Chillwell? Kepa? Sarr?

How much would we get for Sterling?  Saudia Arabia would be nice, but he doesnt want to leave London.

We need to buy some players.

But our super clever owners probably have some American tricks up their sleeves right?  Todd is going to show us all how it is done and get us a bundle of cash all clean and above board.  Everything is going to be fine. . . .
