Think this game might be the home game on Easter Monday 1966 This was on 11th April 1966 with a 3pm kick off. Officially 39,380 saw it. The Shed certainly looks packed... 1-0 us, with Bobby Tambling scoring. The previous season, 1964/65 we played Forest at home on Mon 22nd Feb 1965 at a 19:30pm kick off. So that is ruled out. Along with fact that Peter Osgood never played in this game ! Edited April 18, 20197 yr by erskblue

April 19, 20197 yr https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/04/19/bobby-tambling-s-shed-wall-plaque-unveiled-?cardIndex=0-3 Bobby Tambling was at Stamford Bridge yesterday for the unveiling of his new plaque as our former striker joined a host of other Chelsea greats to be celebrated on the Shed Wall. Earlier this week Tambling won a poll of Chelsea supporters to choose a former player to be added to the wall. You can read an extensive interview with our former star scorer, including his memories of the Shed, here. Before we took on Slavia Prague yesterday a crowd gathered towards the west end of the wall for the unveiling. The host was Chris Hollins, son of Bobby's former team-mate John, and there were also words from chairman Bruce Buck and Tambling himself. He met supporters young and old, signing autographs and posing for photos. The plaque bears his preferred no.8 shirt and words on his glittering Chelsea career. And how fitting that within 26 minutes of last night's match the Shed End net had rippled four times with Chelsea goals!
