Edit: Our minibus had a p..s stop on the hard shoulder coming back. A Man U coach came past. Some twat threw a whisky bottle at it from point blank range and luckily managed to miss. He was told to find his own way home after that. Could have seriously hurt an innocent kid etc. Edited April 30, 20197 yr by Ewell CFC

Met Ossie on the plane over to Barcelona for the CL game in 2005. There was about 150 Chelsea fans on the plane. He took time to chat to the fans and have photos taken. Difficult to take in that it was just over a year later that he left us. So great to have his statue outside the West Stand.

Like you I didn't know that fans were in the cornered bit.

I went with a mate who wasn't even a fan, but had bought the jade away shirt that year because he liked it so much! We had to stand on a stairway even when we got in the ground at around 2pm - until a few plod got everyone to squash up on the terrace. From there we could see that even the normally cornered off part of the Shed was being used. The benches were packed as well, with standing room only up at the north end. Of course at the final whistle it was mayhem when a large gate in the Shed fence slowly swung open from the east side and out shot hundreds to charge across the pitch. I can still remember the huge surge towards the fence and I only just managed to hang on to my pal as we all got swept down towards the front. Pretty hectic for a couple of 13 year-olds!

Yes same here in middle of shed, and yes didn't realise the corner was used that day, remember crammed next to some odd ball who was doing a running commentery of the game, most strange. Remember walking out ground and thinking all the hope we had during THAT season then 4 years later it was ruined by this dire season. Mind you not sure whether it's nostalgia kicking in, being younger or just how sh*t and watered down football is nowadays but wasn't it more exciting in those days, the whole match day.

May 2, 20197 yr Found this picture on Facebook the other day. Funnily enough I found mine the other day when going through some old stuff. It was given away to ST holders when renewing their season tickets a few years back. I can't remember which season it was given away. Anyone remember? Edited May 2, 20197 yr by Boyne

We were the other side of the tea bar. Don’t remember too much other than I didn’t have time to go home and sharpen up after work and was straight off a building site covered in sh*t. ( got the piss taken, stig of the dump me mates called me) I thought the Charlton play off previously looked like it was gonna kick off.
