My French is rusty so I've only understood bits of the commentary. Interesting to see the training sessions. I've tried to work out where some of them took place. Possibly the White City Stadium? Anyone know? The running track looks like Hurlingham Park, a mile or so from The Bridge
May 3, 20224 yr Boyne is correct about the film. It’s Crystal Palace sports ground. The football part is next to the running track which became Astro turf Football and Hockey pitch

Doug Roughvie and Kerry Dixon both favoured thigh huggers. I remember a short lived time in the late 80s when cycling shorts were sometimes worn under football shorts in theory to keep hamstrings warm. A bit of a fad like those nasal strips warn by Robbie Fowler; supposed to let more air in- why not just drill a couple of holes in your nose...
May 5, 20224 yr 83-85 shorts were ok but 85-86 le Coq sportif and the next couple of kits were short!! Durie used to pull them up high like Stuart Pearce. Looked like French Knickers!!!
