August 19, 201411 yr Oldish guy at bottom of pic. Is he the bloke who others mentioned several months back, who was in other photos posted on site?. Ha Ha. A shirt and tie in the Shed looks wrong doesn't matter how old you are.
August 20, 201411 yr Author We had the yellow and blue away kit in 77-78 PB my favourite away kit ever. The yellow and blue scarf bottom right i don't remember them at the Bridge but my brother who is a spud had one. It might be a Spurs scarf but dont forget those were the days of rival fans nicking scarfs after dishing out slaps, its def Chelsea i'm lead to believe also the pic came from a Chelsea fella.
August 21, 201411 yr These are from today's Guardian. The one with Chopper is odd to say the least. Has anyone ever had a family photo proudly showing off there hoover, kettle and wheelbarrow?. Love the CFC kitbag though.

August 22, 201411 yr Some good pics in this link the famous Chelsea v Spurs North Stand one http://flashbak.com/police-and-british-football-hooligans-1970-to-1980-3350/ Now we know where Man U got their worst fans rep from - worst dressed, that is - just look at the flares on that twat on the left:
August 23, 201411 yr Goals from Hollins (hate the man myself) Ossie and Chris Garland. I've never seen the Garland goal before it's against Spurs and there seems to be a lot of Chelsea in the Paxton.
August 23, 201411 yr Stamford Bridge, Chelsea-Tottenham, 1913 I wonder how many of the people in this photo survived the next five years?

August 25, 201411 yr Stumbled across this. Two goals from Ossie, Chopper sent off and Jimmy Hill commentating!
August 27, 201411 yr Pre-season training, 1935 style: 1st August 1935: Chelsea Football Club players report for training at Stamford Bridge, where their first duty is to erect the goal posts.
August 29, 201411 yr I'm pretty certain I was there that day mate. We used to use the Supporters Club coaches because they were so cheap and we were all still at school then, another reason was that we could get on board at their depot in Mitcham and get the back seat before it set off for the Bridge. I think it was Oldham that day in our first second division season and I remember the older, and more respectable lot herding everyone back on to the coaches to avoid any further trouble, I think it was the same day that Greenaway's coach had a social gathering with Leeds at a different service station. Im sure you are correct as my brain doesnt remember too many things correctly

What a day that nearly was. I remember before the game a fan of each side swapping scarfs i think it was on the pitch. As the Chelsea boy walked back to the Shed he was told in no uncertain terms what to do with the Spurs scarf. If you look at the two line ups we did brilliantly well to run them so close. Only Patesy and Johnny B were at the club in 83-84 while the Spuds had Hoddle Ardiles etc.
September 3, 201411 yr That semi final at WHL was great, huge Chelsea turnout totally filled the Paxton end. When Alan Hudson scored a fluke goal in the last minute we went absolutely mental, we were in the League Cup Final! Unfortunately we lost to Stoke at Wembley, but the two games against Tottenham were superb. I was also at the Brighton match, what a day out!
