Chelsea 1 Man Utd 0 1993/94

What was the year in the 80s when there were a load of CFC in the North Terrace in with the Man U? They shut the gates of the Shed, everywhere else was sold out, so loads of us paid to get in the North Stand. Can't remember what kicked it off- might have been a goal- but remember the war cry of of a Manc who was standing behind me- sh*t he screamed at the top of his voice, and off it went. We got taken out and led by the side of the West Stand- got noticed by a few mates cause I was wearing a distinctive pink kappa v- neck. Can't for the life of me remember whether they stuck us in the benches or the shed. Didn't plan going in with the Mancs, and weren't really with the firm at that time. Some afternoons if you want to watch the game you can't be too choosy as they say. What was the year?

Division One Football 1985/86 Season Chelsea v Manchester United, Stamford Bridge. The final score was a two one victory to Manchester United. Police have to go into the crowd to break up fighting amaongst the supporters. October 1985

I just back from Germany that morning and I was ejected from the Middle of the shed ten minutes or so before kick off, got back in later mind you.

That's not 84-85 Jezz we got promoted in 84 by beating Leeds 4-0 (great day). That picture has been put up before not sure of the year over to you Carshalton.

Could be 85 but definitely not against Leeds

That's not 84-85 Jezz we got promoted in 84 by beating Leeds 5-0 (great day). That picture has been put up before not sure of the year over to you Carshalton.

I think it was against Everton the following season. 85/86. If you look closely at the crowd you can see a few wearing the kit from that season with the vertical stripes as opposed to the horizontal stripes of the previous 2 seasons.

I think that may have been a fairly staged shot by good 'ole Uncle Ken. Anyway, that Everton game was bloody awful. A live game too and we lost, Watched it with some family that night and my uncle said he thought we were crap. Even as a 9 year old I had to agree with him.

Yes you're actually right because I uploaded an image recently when the late John Neal was celebrating a crushing victory over Leeds in 1984.

I think that game was 84/85 when we lost 1-0. Everton in 85/86 was a 2-1 victory I believe.

That picture is 100% from Chelsea 2 Everton 1 85/86, it was at half time & conducted by Bates who was stood on a step ladder, the picture was for the clubs Xmas card, i still have one of them.
