And that vixen Lea Seydoux from Spectre. Still, not enough to play what looks like utter dross

It’ll be free on PS Plus when it doesn’t sell well :laugh2:

I’m not enjoying it as much as I thought to be honest. I thought I wouldn’t be able to put it down at the weekend but I’ve hardly put any hours in to it.

Thats a shame, I'm still loving it and enjoying it as much as ever, but then I adored kotor and mass effect and this game is of the same ilk.

Death Stranding looks abominable. Turns out it IS a walking simulator. Just constant fetch-quests, lumbering over the vast landscape delivering parcels like a glorified Amazon delivery driver. Actually having to balance the load on your back with the trigger buttons.

Pass!

The reviews are so weird for it and show how far up Kojimas arse some of them are, basically slag it off say how boring it is, the game mechanics are terrible, its too repetitive....9 out of 10 because its just do arty....

If you want to cringe so hard you feel the need for a shower after go read the guardians review...

I loved mass effect 1-3 (let’s not talk about that last mess). I’m getting in to it more as I play it.

I read the Guardian’s review and wondered whether they played the same game as IGN did- they gave it 6.5 or something.

Like you said, it’s just a Kojima w**k-fest

Mass Effect is my favourite game series of all time.

Anyone got Outer Worlds?

Is it out on PC yet? It says pre-order on their website.

Brilliant games, I actually enjoyed andromeda to be honest, the stick it got was a bit much as it was a decent game, just not as good as the other 3.

Yeah I think so, but don't buy it outright as its on game pass, and that's a quid.

It's on the Epic Game Store, Comes to Steam some time next year.

I've got and I'm enjoying it. It's basically Fallout in space but with a variety of corporations instead of Vault Tec. It's both good and bad that it's sticks so rigidly to the Fallot formula. Doesn't really have any features that define it over Fallout (aside from the setting) and it's a bit unadventurous in the freedom for the quests too (choices: Faction A, Faction B, Faction A and B working together but one random person gets screwed, kill everyone) and all quests boil down to fetch quests.

It's also very very easy. You only have 3 types of ammo so you'll never run out and I've never found the combat challenging in the slightest.

I'm enjoying it but your enjoyment basically comes down to how much you want to play a game almost exactly like Fallout 3 and later.

I noticed that when reading the reviews too. It's a game, but it's been built up to be more like a movie. Gameplay is the essential piece to any video game, if it's not fun, then it's a bad game, no matter how good the rest of it is.

Look at the state of this review.

https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2019/11/01/death-stranding-review-metal-weird-solid-ps4/

The reviewer says "writing it out makes it sound dull. And it is" and "Death Stranding is not a fun game" and "it combine some of gaming's most loather elements"........but still gives it a 9.5/10.

And this review is one of most ass kissing reviews I have ever read

Reviews never influence my decision when it comes to playing a game, but I do like to read them now and again, and the reviews for this game seem to be more about feeding Kojima's ego more than anything else.

I caved in and bought Death Stranding. Only playing the intro but must say, it’s an incredible looking game. Fantastic intro so far. No idea what’s going on but so far so good

If anyone like fallout new Vegas you have to get the outer worlds, it's bloody magnificent, a proper obsidian RPG that actually seems to have few bugs, if any.

looking for a new game and I loved New Vegas.  Might just get this today as I've completed the two games I had on hand.

So I have a new addiction, tracks train set simulator. It's bloody marvellous.

Worst thing you've ever said DKW, I'm sorry, what's wrong with you? 🤢

Has anybody played that Disco Elysium? Game of the year for me, who ever written that game is an absolute genius, a small dev team and the writing is better than any AAA billion dollar studio, puts so many to shame.

The voice acting can be a bit sh*t, and a lot of the time it can be walls and walls of text, but a great experience, fully recommend anyone to give it a go.

So I'm getting my little girl a switch for chrimbo and her grandparents want to get her accessories for it. I mentioned the pro controller or another set of the side ones but then saw the price, wow. Are there any decent 3rd party controllers out there? I've found decent pro type ones but not the other type.

So I'm getting myself a switch for chrimbo under the guise of buying it for my daughter.

My old man bought a Commodore 64 for my brother for Christmas back in the day. He was 1 or 2 at the time :laugh2:

So I got accepted onto the Project X Stream preview trial thingy, and its pretty impressive so far. No discernible lag as far as I could tell, played for about 1 1/2 hours and only had one drop out and a bit of a sound problem for a few seconds on one game.
