Any game recommendation?

Gonna trade in Far Cry 4 in today. As Dying Light has been delayed, I need something new to play.

The options are (in order of preference):

- AC Unity

- Little Big Planet

- The Crew

What do you reckon? Anyone played any of the above and can advise?

I am not a gamer in the slightest but I have just discovered Miniclip 8 ball pool!

Basic, simple but bloody addictive :-)

Used to play that - love how its so easy to just play against someone else, rather than the computer. Really addictive!

Apparently The Crew is dog turd, Little Big Planet 3 is supposed to be okay but not as fun as the PS3 games were.

I'd go with Assains Creed because you can probably pick it fairly cheap now even though they've apparently fixed all the really bad bugs and glitches.

My mate has just unearthed his PS2 so we've been getting on the Bond games from about a decade ago - got hours of fun out of Agent Under Fire and Nightfire, hilarious stuff.

Nightfire! What a game!

Well I got AC Unity in the end and must say, I'm really enjoying it. It feels like the earlier games.

Side note, Game offered me £20 for the Far Cry 4. CEX offered me £31. Game is such a rip off..

Game price match and go £1 better if you show them proof what CEX are offering, I just show them the web page.

I've preferred CEX since one opened in my town. I always bought my old PS2 games from Game but CEX is better now.

Only trouble with CEX is that everything is pre owned so if there is a new game out you have to wait for someone to trade it in. I now price match at Game so that when something new comes out that I want I can buy it on my store credit.

Agreed. The combat has had a complete overhaul. In AC3 and Black Flag you were basically invincible, being able to chain kills together, you couldn't be touched.

But in Unity you have to parry at exactly the right moment, reminds me of the fist AC game. I've been killed so many times, I've actually had to act more like an "assassin" (which is the whole point of these games, right?) in order to progress and get past people.

Downloaded DriveClub as something to tide me over until The Order comes out next month.

It's okay, very much an arcade style racer rather than being a sim, short races with various goals to achieve as well as winning races.

Graphics are impressive too.

Not a massive racing fan but needed something to play and there isn't much out right now.

Was just going to download DA: Inquisition before seeing that it's 40GB  Won't be playing it this weekend then...

Yeah, takes a bit of time but you can start playing before the while thing has downloaded. Just leave it running over night.

Resi Evil remake is bloody great, so many memories. Taking some getting used to the controls again though, and it still makes me sh*t myself.

Is it more Need for Speed or Gran Tourismo?

Somewhere in the middle.

The races don't tend to last more than 5 minutes each. There are set tracks rather than an open world type of setting where you find cars and races.

The driving is pretty simple but techniques like drifting to take your driving to the next level are hard to master.

It's okay for the odd race here and there but not something that you are likely to sink a good few hours into at any one time.

Open World racer games have such fantastic potential but I don't think any game has achieved it yet.

The original Most Wanted was fantastic and the closest to doing so in my opinion. Haven't played the updated version.

Back on Hotline Miami on the vita, such a great and addictive game.

Trying my hardest to achieve an A+ rating on all of the levels but I think it might just be out of skill reach.

Looking forward to The Order 1886 coming out at the end of the month
