Will it look sad if I go to the midnight launch of Red Dead?

Consoles are for kids, so presumably most of the people there will still be at school.

I've got 50 hours into Odyssey and love it. The story line was great, tons of things to do, great ship to ship combat. It's also much harder to just run around shanking people, or beating guys at higher levels easily. Really challenging but good. Can't wait for xpacks.

I didn’t think of this, I could go on the way home from the match tonight :laugh2:

Yup, getting 10/10 pretty much everywhere. Thankfully I am off work tomorrow with no kids so I’m planning a 6 hour session of it.

Superb review scores, can't wait to play the best version on the xbox one x.......

Anyone played much of RDR2 yet? Not sure whether to go out and get it after work tonight.

Nope, it should have arrived when I get in tonight but it will probs take all day to install on my internet connection so no playing till Sunday :(

But of course you have to go and get it! Game of the year! Game of the century!

RDR2 has taken about an hour and half to install on my PS4.

Just a warning for those of you eager to play it when you get home tonight.

Does it rely on an internet connection for the install? Or am I being dense and thinking of the Day 1 patch...

I went to a midnight launch and got it so I could install it overnight. Wasn’t too crazy at midnight launch. Done in 10 mins without pre-ordering.

Ive spent about 2.5 hours so far and I don’t think I am even past the tutorial. The graphics/texture of the snow is incredible. Enjoying it so far. Just about go hunting for the first time.

Played it at midnight. On pre-order it downloaded last week and was opened to play at midnight. Bit gutted online isn’t open yet though.

I tried to stay up to play at midnight but was too knackered, house to myself tonight though so should get a good few hours on it.

Is any details about playing online known yet? Guessing it will be like GTA?

It might just be me and it’s early days only being a few hours into the story, but I’m finding it a bit .... slow.

I've seen this said in a few places that the initial part of the game is quite plodding.

Chapter 1 was really long considering it was an introduction/tutorial. I’m still finding my feet with it.

You will be pleased to know that I have a shave, a bath and some food...and then got into a bar fight and got thrown in the mud.

Legendary moment.
