Beyond: Two Souls is a free download on the PSN this month. I am currently playing through it. It's  ok, nothing spectacular but it's worth getting as a free download. It's keeping me busy until Detroit comes out next week.

APparently this new Fallout 76 game is going to be online only. Not sure what I feel about that. If you're forcde to play multiplayer, people will just ruin it, you can't enjoy a long story-based game with dicks running around messing things up.

It’ll probably be along the lines of Elder Scrolls Online. I hope not though, love the series but hate other people :laugh2:

Everyone has seen the money gta online is pulling in and are jumping in it unfortunately. I have very little interest in online gaming anymore so it better gave a solo play also.

After finishing God of War I bought Assassin's Creed Origins tide me over for a bit... It's alright but if you've ever played Assassin's Creed before it's just really, meh.

Odd criticism I know but the game feels too big, the map is huge but lots of it is just filled with empty spaces. The game forces you to do a lot of side quests or else you're under leveled to progress with the main quest. Combat isn't challenging... If you aren't high enough a level enemies can just one hit kill you so you've got to grind up through the levels. I dunno, all just felt very blagh.

Picked up Detroit Become Human. I enjoyed Heavy Rain which was made by the same studio, the story is quite good basically parallels androids with the slave trade. Game play wise, you won't be challenged and if you're not engaged with the story I can imagine you'd be bored quite quickly.

Interesting to go back and make different story choices and seeing how it plays out.

Also been playing Dark Souls Remastered. They've done nothing to improve game play mechanics just upped some graphical things and improved the frame rate. It's one of my all time favourite games so enjoying replaying it and having plenty of other players to summon in or help or have invade the game, made it feel quite fresh.

After that I don't think there's anything coming out that I can think of that I want to play until September when Spider-Man comes outs.

Started playing Fortnite recently. A fun little game for a while but i'm not sure how it has got as popular as it currently is. Nothing special about it.

Honestly, I think most of the hype has been younger kids playing it.

It's free to play so as long as you have a console and online access all the kids can play together and not worry about their parents having to shell out £50 for COD or whatever.

I thought Fortnite was okay but couldn't really get into it. I thought the building system was jarring more than anything, if you don't master that system you won't win much because it's so vital to defending yourself. It was a chore to me to figure it out so didn't bother.

I played a few games of H1Z1 over the weekend because it's now free to play on Playstation. I preferred it to Fortnite personally because it doesn't have the building aspect to it, just scavenge for weapons/armour and survive as long as you can. Was playing the mode where you're put into teams of five because I liked having a bit of teamwork which I think made surviving easier.

You’ve just described every Ubisoft game ever. Make a massive map with lots of little collectibles etc. to make it last longer.

How did your first playthrough end? I really enjoyed Detroit. I was engaged in the story, and sometimes it's nice to take a step back from traditional games and enjoy an interactive movie. From what I can tell, there are a significant number of endings, and choices that actually have an impact...which is nice. Plus, it's a gorgeous looking game.

I enjoyed Far Cry 5 recently, thought it was a lot of fun... but this one was just so bland. The story isn’t boring, the characters were boring.

It’s not a bad game, just nothing about it was particularly engrossing.

I’m on my phone at the moment, will let you know why I can put spoiler tags on my reply, don’t want to ruin anything for those wanting to play it.

I kept Markus peaceful, didn’t do anything unlawful with Kara and kept Conner focused on his job.

Bethesda E3 conference was last night and confirmed it. I’d be upset but they also announced elder scroll VI!

Some decent announcements at E3 so far but, as always, a frustrating lack of actual release dates.

Was happy to hear about the new Doom but no idea how long we've got to wait for that one.

I'm curious about Fallout 76, looks interesting.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice looks awesome.

Glad to see Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be edging closer but still no signs of game play or a release date.

Sony's press conference tonight. Not expecting too much because they've already laid out most of their upcoming releases.... Hopeful to see some game play for The Last of Us 2. Maybe Death Stranding but it'll probably just be a trailer. Other than that it'll be 3rd party stuff, would like to know what Rocksteady studios are up to.

Feels like i've been waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 for about 10 years.

Rumours of Ciri making an appearance at some point.

Btw I called Skyrim Smart Fridge Edition about 8 months ago :laugh2:

Ghost of Tsushima looks incredible, I'm most excited about this game. Take a look at the gameplay:

It look beautiful too. We've been begging for an Assassin's Creed game based in Japan, now Sucker Punch has gone and beaten Ubisoft to it!

The Infamous games from the same studio were pretty good so hopefully they keep it up here.

I have actually found E3 to be underwhelming. I'm a bit tired of gore and guns being the focus. I'm also not really into Sony's games. Visually, they look spectacular, but they are very samey to me. Over the shoulder, action, gore fests. Watching Sony's press conference was like watching trailers for Slasher Horror movies.

Microsoft's press conference didn't make me want to jump back in and buy an Xbox One, but i thought it was the best because it had games of multiple genres to show off.
