We should have kept him in the squad. No need for Moses or Hulk, we could have had De Bruyne as another option along that front three. Much more threat than Malouda at any rate.

Dortmund vs Bremen should be interesting. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on De Bruyne

He is on the best XI of the week. His performance was in short described as solid, very good technical and always able to pick out an available player.

And he said on twitter that it wasnt his best game. I have high hopes for this lad.

I realise that with the amount of space in our squad being limited we had to send players out on loan and he is young so he was the likely option but i really think he would have offered us something this season.

I know its early days but i do hope he isnt one of those players that we buy just to try and make a profit on. I hope he is given a chance next season.

i think hes better than both moses and marin, and is so versatile that he could get plenty of playing time. he can play at both wings, behind the striker and as a cm. such a great player to have on our bench and we just send him out on loan

but when i look at how oscar is being handled i wonder what de bruyne will have to do to get playing time, even if he ends up having a great season at werder

Brilliant goal. Can't wait to see KDB in a Chelsea shirt. I wonder what his position would be in the long term? Seems like he could play practically anywhere in midfield. Would be great if he could be converted into a CM.

He was apparently playing in centre mid today, Celery. According to WhoScored Werder have only played him up front once.

Not sure where he will play out of the attacking mids, unless we have him in our Lamps role. I think this would be wonderful for him, considering his ability for long passes.

Although in my opinion the biggest difference between De Bruyne and the rest of the bunch is he is more of goal scorer than a passer, which is also extremely invaluable considering we have been having trouble with our CF's not potting goals.

I think he has the potential to be the successor to Lampard we have been hoping for.

Yeah if he is given a chance here. I wouldnt be shocked if he never really gets a chance with us and is sold in a season or two.
