Yossi, a Liverpool reject? Shame on yous. That fat Spanish waiter didnt know how valuable Yossi was to their team.

Spot on ! Yossi has always been a superb player for them whenever he played ... I wish Yossi can replicate that form with us as well !

You're right rahul, but in retrospect John Lennon was probably the best thing to ever come out of Liverpool, so you know so the whole thing was a little tongue in cheek to start with.

Genk now through to the final qualifying round of the Champions League - if they win it, he's cup tied. The draw's tomorrow and because of the seeding they'll be against one of FC Kobenhavn, BATE Borisov, Maccabi Haifa, Dinamo Zagreb or APOEL Nicosia.

Matches aren't played until the end of august (second leg is the 23rd I think) but if this still isn't done by then, I'd expect them to be more receptive to a deal if they're knocked out.

Doesn't sound too promising:

Chelsea's hopes of completing a hat-trick of signings from the Belgian League have been dashed after 20-year old prospect Kevin de Bruyne suffered an injury playing for Genk against Lierse.

He faces a scan on Monday and is expected to be out for several weeks.

Twitter is suggesting a broken fibula. I'd say that will put him out for 6 months. Bad luck for the lad. Onto the next target I suppose.

Ive read a few things saying it isnt as bad as first feared and he should be back in training in a month or so.

Read on some sites that it's not as bad as first thought, so who knows. Our interest (if there was any behind all the media bollocks) seems to have all but disappeared since AVB came in.

I want us to sign the trio of Belgians, but De Bruyne is not the third I am thinking of.

Cheers,

Butch

Me too!

I wouldn't mind De Bruyne either but far less exciting compared to the Belgian you're talking about.

ESPN quote Extra Time as their source, which I know nothing about. Is it a magazine, web site, TV programme? Whatever it is, the actual quotes, would appear to be genuine:

De Bruyne told Extra Time: "My manager went to Chelsea on Wednesday and discussions have been good. The opportunity is there.

"Maybe by the end of the month a deal can be sorted out, because that would be a good thing for all three parties. The first year, I would continue playing at Genk and the second year we would have to take a decision - it would depend on my performance."

"The coach took me aside last week," De Bruyne said. "He told me I'm ready to take the next step. He thinks I can play at a big club like Thibaut Courtois."

Sod staying at genk?

Can you hug the touch line?

Can you get to the byline

can you beat a player

Can you put in a cross

Really if you can tick all those boxes get your ass over hear NOW!!
