Well,Didier is 34 & his surname is Drogba, so what's so wrong about a statue of a pair of 34DD's?.

Are you not forgetting the 2 English players that have played for us for over 10 years. If anyone deserves a statue who plays for us currently its one of those 2 but I can't remember there names so they can't of done much for the club. Well not as much as Drogba ( and no I'm not saying Drogba is any worse) but come on he scores crucial goals but so have lots of players.

On a more serious note, he's leaving. But only physically. Heart and soul remains. A legend, he always will be. Thanks for all the memories!

I love Drogba like a son and he has had my unwavering support and respect from day one. That first season, when so many Chelsea fans first got on his back, (and to their eternal shame, many stayed there), I saw his value, his potential and how his all-round game could make us a far more cohesive and formidable TEAM. I believed in him and boy did he exceed my expectations.

I feel he, along with Frank, JT and Cech from this generation, have earned "Chelsea Legends" status. But, and this is a completely personally perspective here, I am against giving any player a statue at the ground whilst they are still alive. Name a bar after them, yes. Name an entrance after them, yes. But a statue should be erected posthumously I feel, as a permanent reminder to future generations of truly great players from past eras who are gone but not forgotten.

If I was going to erect a statue to anyone, it would be Ken Bates for saving the club from extinction in the 80's.
