Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST

We return to Stamford Bridge finally, up against Norwich now. This is the sort of game where we should be collecting all three points.

This should do the job.

Marin maybe?

What's the score with Marin? He played 15 against Wolves (and looked a handful) but am I right in thinking that he hasn't been in the squad since?

I'm sure it was said that he missed most of last season injured and it seems he's not fairing much better this season so far. A real pity.

I would love to see Marin start the game, although a sub appearance wouldnt be that bad either. I guess the usual suspects all kind of pick themselves for the game. Hoping for a comfortable afternoon and probably a goal or two for Hazard. Been a while since he's been in the news.

Theres an international break afterwards, 3 points will cement place at the top

RDM will field the strongest possible side, expect a few goals then

I expect a full strength team from RDM, cosidering the international break and and no player looks tired not even players who played all games this season.

Doubt we will see Bertrand or Azpi as many would consider/want.

Would be tempted to play Sturridge but dont know anything about his fitness.

Selection dilema for RDM between Mikel-Ramires-Lamps and Hazard-Oscar-Mata-Moses. Especially the double pivot one is tricky. Lamps would be great in this kind of game and maybe Mikel would be not "needed" if Norwich park the bus. Case to wonder if Mikel and Lampard are played (in this or any other match) will be Ramires be out of starting 11?

We have beaten both Arsenal and Newcastle in the league so far, both good sides who, on their day, have shown they can give trouble to the best sides in the league.

We also have drawn with QPR, a team that has mostly looked like garbage this season. So while we SHOULD put Norwich to the sword, claim 3 points and a few goals to boot to carry on our good run, we are at risk again if we do not focus.

Whatever side Robbie picks so long as they are motivated, hungry and bring home the expected and needed 3 points I am happy.

I hope I am wrong but I think this is going to be a hard slog, Norwich just got hammered at home by Liverpool albeit they handed Liverpool a few goals, so I expect them to play deep and as with all teams coming here try and hit us on the break...a low scoring affair...2-0....like to see Marin, Romeu and Ceasar in the side for a run out.

Put on the same 11 played Arsenal and make sure we maintain our lead heading towards the break. It's temptng to play Moses in this one, we know they are going to defend deep and narrow. This maybe the kind of match to debut Cesc A to add a bit more in attack. It's either going to be a walk over if we score in the first 10, or it will end up like the Stoke match. They are pretty good in set pieces, so there's always a threat.

Have a hard run coming up after this so a vital 3 points. Norwich have been abysmal so reasonably confident. Would love to see Moses get a start.

------------------Cech

-Azi-----Gary-------JT--------Cole

-----------Mikel-----Rami

--Moses------mata<-------> hazard

-------------Nando

Lets steamroll these guys!!

I would like a similar line up to which we played against Woves , obviously with Cech in goal and not Turnball.

The club seems to be treating Marin with care due to his injury problems over the last couple of seasons (think he only played 15 games last year for werder) but i would like to see him get a run out as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Robbie played this team:

............................ Cech

Azpi ........... Luiz ...............Terry .............. Cole

...............Mikel ..................... Ramires

Mata .................. Lampard ......................Hazard

............................ Torres

............................ Cech

Ivan ........... Luiz ...............Terry .............. Cole

...............Mikel ..................... Lampard

Ramires .................. Mata ......................Hazard

............................ Torres

Is how I feel we will start the game, would like Rambo in the middle beside Mikel and Lamps pushed further up if he was top play in place of Oscar.

Three players I would not mind seeing is Azpilicueta, Marin and Sturridge.

Are the last 2 fit to play?

I thought Cesar was a cert to play midweek.

It's imperative we take 3 points from this game. We have a heavy follow-up schedule e.g. Spurs, Man U, Donetsk. Because of Norwich's poor form and our successful track record at home I expect an easy win but we can't afford to be complacent. RDM should field a relatively strong team. John Terry will amost certainly start. However Ivan and Luiz should be rested and Azpil and Cahill replace them. I believe this is a good opportunity to play Azpil at RB. Oscar deserves to start and the more he's played the faster he'll adapt to the Premiership game. I predict a great future for him at the Bridge. Ramires and Mata need to be rested and brought in later if needed. So here is the team I'd like to see RDM start:-

-------------------------------------------------------------Cech-----------------------------------------------

Azpil------------------------------Cahill-------------------------------Terry---------------------------Cole

------------------------------------------------Mikel-----------------Lampard-------------------------------

Moses--------------------------------------------------Oscar----------------------------------------Hazard

-----------------------------------------------------------Torres------------------------------------------------

Prediction: Chelsea 3 Norwich 0.

You've contradicted yourself a bit there mate. You say it is crucial we get the 3 points with the games we have coming up but then you say we should rest players. I say let's play our best team with the 2 week break coming up. That means no moses, no lampard and no azpil. The only one I might give a game is cahill ahead of luiz.

I have no idea what their status is at the moment, but Marin has played for the reserves, so he should be able to play atleast a part of the game. And I think some people mentioned before the game yesterday that Sturridge might play, but he didn't, so I'm not sure if it's because he's not ready to play or if they saved him for this game. I'm sure he won't be able to play 90 minutes, but perhaps get some time anyway.
