What was your personal favourite from 2003-Present?

My personal favourite was winning the Champions League which was the obvious choice, simply because we were so close every year and was so desperate for Lamps, JT and Drogs to win it along with others.

Not including Community Shield.

I could see people voting for the league in 05, as the Premiership's a bigger deal than the CL to a lot of traditionally-minded fans - certainly it's that 04-05 team, rather than the actual CL winners, who're the most common pick for favorite team of the Abramovich era in the other thread. And that was what got us back into the swing of winning trophies.

On the other hand . . . it was pretty clear we were going to win the league sooner or later, as long as Roman didn't get distracted. By the end of the Napoli away leg, I'd almost given up on seeing this core group of players win the CL. The way it happened, especially after all the close calls in the past, gives Munich the edge for me.

It's between the first league title and the Champions League for me. At the moment the CL win feels better, but that is perhaps because it happened recently.

Maybe the CL is number one for me. It was something we had chased for a very long time and we won it at a time when we perhaps was at our lowest during this era. I mean, every year we felt that we really could win it (and at time we perhaps should have), but maybe it was just me, but the last season really felt like a minor disaster and there was so much doubt all the way, even from the group stage. Apart from perhaps the game against Benfica I really thought that our time would perhaps end. We were down and out so many times, but still won it.

It was also the final title for us to win (of the big ones anyway) so it was extra nice.

Are you bloody mad? What sort of fool is going to vote for anything other than Munich?

I voted league in 04/05. Was a pretty easy decision as well

Obviously the European championship. It was particularly special for me because it happened in the city where I was born.

That said, the FA Cup win when Hiddink was our manager was a close second. After the disaster that was Scolari and the emotional devastation of the Champions league match against Barca, it was massive to win a major trophy. If not for that Norwegian rat, Guus may very well have beaten Robbie to the punch and delivered us a double.

It's interesting how similar each of those seasons were. Dire first halves with two awful coaching performances followed by two immediate rejuvenations with the appointment of fantastic interim managers.

The first league title in 2004/2005 for me, nothing will beat that feeling for me.

For anyone to say that its anything other than the champions league would be mad or lying. Greatest night in the clubs history.

Same for me. Sorry if that offends anyone but as far as I'm concerned - league > Europe

Quite the opposite for me. We've won several league titles in the past (particularly in the last few years), but winning the UCL is truly something special that few clubs achieve and we've only done so last year. I believe that was what firmly cemented our place among Europe's greats. Each to their own and all.

Erm, we one one league title before 04/05, 50 years before it...

I meant the first league title I saw - wasn't specific enough.

Personally the Elation of winning the Premiership the first time and the UCL are both an a par. The Premiership was the holy grail at the time and it is the trophy that is one hard long slog to win !

The Champions league win was just as special not only because of its stature but the way in which we had to win it, the 2nd leg against Napoli, and the 2nd against Barca as well as the final. True Under dog story.

special mention for the title we won under ancelotti, not including this season but that was some of the best football i've ever seen chelsea play, alot of games were we won 5 - 6 -7 nil and then to top it off 8-0 on the final day, Brilliant ! It had also been 3 years since we won the league, and it felt like alot more than that !

For me we knew we was going to win the league for months but the CL we could have gone out against Napoli and then against Barca and it was even a tough task against Munich. For me thats why it was more special.

I was prouder when we won the league for the first time in 50 years smashing record after record tbh. Growing up it was always the league. I grew up on the domestic cups. Very proud we won the CL especially after all those near misses but the league is the bread and butter or me.

Screw everything else, the Barclays Asia Trophy is where it's at! It's so memorable that I'm not sure whether that's its actual name!

In all seriousness, the CL title would come first because the run to it allowed us to bury lots of demons: the 2008 final against Man U, Tom Henning Ovrebo, Man U defeating us both home and away in 2010/11...it just goes on. The run was also miraculous; if Barcelona did it, it would have been portrayed as a "victory for football". Since we did it, the anti-Chelsea pundits were back moaning about 'bus parking' after 2 days or so.

The 2004/05 PL title was special too, of course.
