United paid 7.8 million quid for Barthez in 2000 when he was 29, that would be well over 20 million quid taking into inflation now.

Barca and Liverpool JUST bought a GK, they have no need for him. Dont see us selling him this year, but if we do I expect 15 at the most. Time will tell I guess

He's far better than PSG or Monaco's keepers, and he played in Ligue 1 before he came here.

15.7 million is now about 21 million; 7.8 million is now about 10.5 million.

Yeah, Cech is a league above both of them. These teams were just examples of Clubs with high aspirations but not so great players between the sticks.

 

Ter Stegen may be solid in a few years, but Mignolet? Awful

They were keen on spending £40-50m on Luiz despite having perfectly good centre halves in Silva, Marquinhos and Alex. Liverpool won't be in for Cech but it isn't unrealistic to suggest PSG would, he's still one of the best keepers around.
