Wanted us to go for him as a cheap alternative but United would never have sold him to us anyway. There are much better alternatives who would cost around the same it would take to get him from Fulham so no, I wouldn't want him anymore.

If we "sell" Torres; recall Lukaku and don't sign a big name striker I'd say he would be a great signing. The thing is that guys like Hazard; Oscar and Moses would benefit a great deal from a guy like Berbatov - he will put them through on goal as often as they put him through.

Thought he would be a perfect fit for us as all we need is a striker with a good first touch who can then put it in the net, which is about the extent of what he does, but he's getting a bit old now and I don't see the point in bringing in a 33 year old striker when we released our greatest ever striker last season because he was that age.

People say he is lazy, i think he is just like Anelka in a way. He is just very laid back and quiet. But he is a very good finisher and probably would have done well in our current team.

He really is an outstanding talent, I always thought the biggest drawback with him is he seems to disappear in important games far too often. But the way he brings a ball down at times is unbelievable, the one in the box yesterday was a great example.
