Rafa - A Picture Dedication

Featured Replies

Not to be controversial, but can't we just drop the rafa threads?

He's gone. He's history. We've all seen these pics before. Time to move on don't you think?

Fair point.

I will say I've not seen all the pictures before though.

I usually do some sort of picture dedication for parting members of CFC's staff, playing or otherwise [Carlo for example]. Pretty sure there will be loads of JT and Frank threads around before they leave - shall I not do them in future? They'll be gone, the pictures will have been before (apart from maybe by me), it'll be time to move on etc. Not saying you're wrong but if it's okay to do that - why does it only work one way?

Edited by Gem

(I'm not a CFC fan, etc) but I did like Frank's expression (baffled, i reckon) in picture two. It looks as if Frank's trying to understand what Rafa's saying. He really WANTS to understand but Rafa just isn't making sense...Frank's thinking 'no, I've no idea...'

Ordinarily I'd agree with JoeyN but I like your picture posts and this one sums up pretty well how I'll remember the ex-interim's tenure.

I can't help wondering why people who are so fed up with Rafa threads would go to the trouble of reading and posting in another Rafa thread...

Because anything done by Gem is bound to be worth seeing - even if I can't stand the sight of that departed dork.

Nice pictures of Frank and JT though!

Pretty much equates to Europa cup> Champions league.

absurd statement.

Spoken by someone sporting a pretty woeful 'like' to comment ratio as well.

(not that that is, or should ever be, a 'thing', but it can speak volumes about a posters character)

Rafa > RDM

I cannot  express how deeply I detest the use of symbols instead of words.  Are you really so inarticulate that you cannot put that in a sentence?

Oooh - is there such a thing?  I'm worried!  I 'like' things all the time!

What pisses me off no end is when someone (A) copies someone else's (B) posts and puts claps under it (without adding any comment). Then a third poster ©  comes along and "likes" B's post - i.e. the clap of  A's post.

How moronic is that????????????

I agree that the phrase "Rafa is better than RDM" is easier to understand than Rafa>RDM  in all but logical reasons (as neither makes sense at all logically).

The only way in which that sentence makes any sense at all is if it is made more specific...

e.g. Benitez is better at w**king than Robbie is. (stands to reason, he must get plenty of practice)

Of course not, likes should (and do) flow relatively freely, hence the oddity of someone with only 7 to their name despite having 374 active posts.

A poster who rarely has anything positive to say about any aspect of the club, whose last contribution to the Champions League final thread was:

f**k YOU RDM f**k f**k f**k

I think it simply relates to size and weight. And no doubt Benítez is bigger than Robbie, in fact he's bigger than most.
