I didn´t realise a bit of sarcasm isn´t allowed on here, but using c- and f-words is just swell ( No, I´m not talking about you).

It was just a joke, take it easy. But sometimes Torres has that look like his cat just died when he's on the field. And of course, let's not forget his famous moaning rant after the CL final despite doing FA to earn a place in the team during the previous 18 months.

I get that it was a joke. One among so many in almost every thread...It still doesn´t mean he`s a horrible person to be around.

He probably isn't, but random fans on a forum making a joke about a millionaire footballer doesn't hurt anyone. Added to the fact that he's been a terrible player for this club.

I'm probably not the only one here who looks at Fabregas's injury record and thinks he is going to be a Veron-esque flop, right?

Great fit for the team in theory but his alarming decline in appearances and performances for Barcelona are big red flags.

He's averaged 50 appearances per season over the last 3 years. Not really sure where your argument is coming from.

Veron struggled with the pace of the premier league, which accounted for his poor form, more than a serious decline. After he left he looked very good again and was a regular for Argentina.

Fabregas won't struggle with the premier league as he has had 8 years experience. I think he is a better player now, than he was at Arsenal. Certainly more end product, and there's no shame in struggled to keep xavi or iniesta out the team.

He doesn't look very happy.

This is a good scenario for him and for Chelsea. He is not Torres and he will not have the pressure Torres has. No one expects him to score 20 goals per season. Pressure is high for him naturally but to control our midfield and give key passes. Not the kind of pressure to score goals.

 

For us I see him being a hybrid of Mata and Ballack in terms of style. He wants to score and get into good areas but he'll keep his position well and is very good in short opening passes.

 

It is interesting to see what spot will Cesc take if we continue to play 4-2-3-1. Maybe we'll see it tonigh..
