Think Luiz is a certainty to be off to either Bayern or Barca but we should get a decent fee at least.

I just think its the same kind of situation as Mata.

A crowd favourite that doesn't fit into Joses view of where we are going or what he wants us to be.

Why is everyone presuming someones leaving? Terry's getting older - and when Terry retires, we don't have many CBs left. Zouma is a long term signing - he will be a fantastic player in the future but while Terry is still playing he won't be at the standard of Cahill/Luiz.

I actually think Terry is having his best form in years just now and could go on for another year or two at the top. (Pace was never his strong point, his positional play still remains top notch)

I see us going with Terry/Cahill/Zouma/Ivan for our CB's next season, I think Azpi will be played at his best position IF we get Shaw.

So where does this move leaves Kenneth Omeruo ,Kalas,Ake?

On loan next year. To be fair Omeruo, Kalas and Ake have all failed to get any playing minutes for the first team this season. If Ryan couldnt get a game at left back this season then what chance do an of the youth players have on getting game time? The only young players who will play for the first team are the ones we buy for big money like Hazard and Oscar.

We may as well all put the youth team to the back of our minds for a while.

The 19-year-old central defender has joined Chelsea on a five-and-a-half year contract. This season he has made 12 league appearances for France's fourth-placed side.

 

The 6ft 2in Zouma is a French Under-21 international. He was born in Lyon and joined St. Etienne as a 15-year-old in 2009, turning professional in 2011. In total he has made 52 league appearances for 'Les Verts' and scored four goals"

Now confirmed on the official site, we are loaning him back to St Etienne until the summer though.

 

Very exciting news, I think I've seen him play a grand total of once but it's always exciting to sign a youngster with such good reviews.

Signed him and sent him back to St Ettiene for the remainder of the season. 

He'll join us properly in the summer. This probably spells the end of either Luiz or Terry (probably Terry) and most certainly means the end of Ash.
