Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!

Featured Replies

The problem will stem from us playing with the pivot formation.

What we need to be doing if he comes is playing a 4-3-3 with Matic holding

Hazard - Costa - Pedro

   Pogba - Fabregas

          Matic

Not a chance guys. We are not the only club wanting him. If he was actually available this summer, he would've been long sold by now. He'll be a Barcelona player next year.

It's what we all think, yes.

But you always have to hope that it's true when a player of his immense talent is rumored to come.

apparently barcelona gave up on him and will try to bring verratti next year, in my opinion he is the player that is ideal for them and barcelona system

Mourinho told Chelsea officials that Pogba is a must after today's game against WBA. A new bid expected soon.

I'm also told Mourinho still wants to sign a CB. John Stones still on Chelsea's agenda.

Needless to say, this doesn't mean Pogba is off to Chelsea, nor Stones is. But Mourinho is obstinate and wants both.

Would love pogba to come but also would be disappointed that it would mean alot less game time for willian/oscar, both bring different qualities but cant see mourinho rotating cesc that much

Lots of buzz on Twitter but no where else, haven't seen any of the National newspapers running with a story suggesting we're getting him.

Right now this seems more like a rumour fans want to happen than will happen.

Yup.

It's why I hate twitter.

still would rather have verratti but pogba would have to do if push came to shove.

Verratti in my opinion is the best young central midfielder in the world. Over james, over De Bruyne, over Pogba.

PSG won't sell probably even if he demands to leave.

Totally agree mate. He oozes class. Im really surprised that we have never heard any interest from us. He has that mourinho run through walls style about him. Verratti alongside Matic and Fabregas further forward would be perfect.

No Ramires on the bench, lots of rumours and a confirmed bid reported by most outlets.

Something is happening, stop the negativity. It's nice to have hope, we are very lucky as Chelsea fans they were are linked with players of such calibre.

I can't help but be negative towards this deal, i just can't believe that we will be able to pull it off. They have already got rid of Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez, they have been massively weakened, selling Pogba would ruin them. Any chance of competing for the Champions League again is pretty much gone now and if they sell Pogba there is a huge chance that they will miss out on the league title.

Them selling Pogba, along with the rest of the players they have sold / released, would be like us selling Hazard, Fabregas, Matic and Costa.

They spent more than 100m € this transfer window,  replaced Tevez with Dybala, and bought Zaza&Mandzukic, they had amazing defence and they added Alex Sandro from Porto. And they are close to sign Cuadrado on loan. Isla is going to be sold/loan so one more spot is opened for non EU player, that could be Ramires(?), also closing on Cuadrado on loan, linked closely with Draxler, chasing Lemina from Marseille(Di Marzio reported that) and sniffing around Gundogan. And they want another midfielder even if they don't sell Pogba, and if they sell him they will have another 70-80m, that's not bad if u ask me because if he doesn't leave this summer, next summer he is leaving 100%.  Marchisio/Khedira/Pereira/Sturaro/Lemina or another player isn't that bad at all, that's enough to win easily Seria A. Key player for Juventus last year was Vidal, not Pogba.

Even if Pogba stays, Juve will not retain the league title -- they've lost too much quality.

Specifically in midfield is the issue. That team today looked lost because they didn't have their engine in Vidal and the guy who settled their offensive game in Pirlo. Ramires can be an engine guy, not close to the quality of Vidal but still. They still wouldn't have a Pirlo, which is why I think they're going to buy an attacking midfielder and that they've bid on a couple already.

Morata is f**king awesome, people don't understand this. I didn't understand the Mandzukic buy because they need width to make the crosses to him in the box. Cuadrado loan made sense so they can now utilize 4-3-3 when they want Mandzukic. Not to mention Dybala. I don't think losing Tevez will be that big a blow.

Chiellini with Bonucci is a top 3 CB pairing in the world. They need to fix their midfield.

Even if Pogba stays, Juve will not retain the league title -- they've lost too much quality.

So maybe Rambo and a sh*t ton of cash to rebuild would be perfect for them, however they have left it too late to do much, I would imagine if Juve have a sh*t season Pogba's price will drop, their greed (somewhat understandable) may come back to bite them

funny that lots of people on twitter actually believe that tagaya guy, i mean ffs he's just some random fan of chelsea AND freakin real madrid :laugh2:

but if it's true 50m+ramires that's a pretty good deal, don't think we're going to offer much higher than 70m

Just got the number 10 shirt which to me speaks volumes. Last french number 10 at Juve was a pretty good player. We might try to still lure him but I don't think it will happen.
