It's what Juve have been saying about him since the end of last season to be fair.

What I don't understand is why 'one more season'? If the intention is to sell, do it now whilst you have multiple parties interested, have a little bidding war.

He's getting his information from the Palestine fella who everyone knows takes his word as gospel because of the Pedro transfer.

 

We've seen it before with some random on Twitter with no link to football claiming to be in the know and then it doesn't materialise and everyone moves onto the next person who boldly claims something that came true.  

My personal oppinion is he's barca or madrid bound next season.

Yeah - in all probability it'll be Spain.

 

And yeah - very over-rated on the basis of what Juve allegedly want for him. But, of course, the player's worth when that player is adjudged to be the emperor's new clothes is usually if not always out of kilter is it not? What did Real pay for Bale? $80 mill odd wasn't it or thereabouts? Now has he been worth it? How long is a piece of string? Arguments for & against on that one you'd have to say. Was Zidane worth the transfer record at the time? You probably have to say yes to that one based on what Real then achieved. Is Pogba worth as much as Zidane? Who could honestly say at this time? I doubt it but who knows? Great media click bait & all a game of shadows isn't it really?

1. These days if a player wants to leave, they generally get their wish.

2. Who says we are the only club bidding? It's up to Pogba where he goes really, coupled with who offers Juve the best deal - and playing for the Champions of the Premier League under the best manager around puts Chelsea right up there with anybody.

 

I don't think we'll get him, mainly due to how late in the window it is, but people are acting like this transfer is totally unrealistic when it isn't.

But sometimes they give you a little bit extra, just in case.  And sometimes you get done and it's not quite as much as it says on the pack (this happened only last week with some cable my husband bought - I know that's not string, but you can probably make the leap of faith that the same might happen if it was.....)

 

I think we need to form a working party to consider this.  They of course need to report to  a steering group in a year's time.  And then a Committee needs to address the findings.  By which time, of course three or four transfer windows will have opened and closed and Pogba still won't be here.
