Why do you bother coming in to the rumours section? You write them all off and would have them all locked because you don't think it will happen, yet you post in them daily? I really don't get it.

If we don't get Pogba this window then he's likely off to Barcelona next summer. That's why we're pushing the boat out for him now. I'd be really surprised if we pull this off. I just don't see the incentive for either player or club to sell him to us now. Unless Juve and the player have been told by Barca that they're no longer interested or we're offering more money than Barca will be prepared to match. Witsel was always the more realistic option even if he's half the player Pogba is. And Koke might be available next summer. I just hope we have a contingency in place if this deal for Pogba falls through, as we definitely need strengthening in midfield this window.

it wasnt a specific ultimatum to the mods because it doesnt fit with my opinion. it was, as often is the case on here, a throwaway comment designed simply to accentuate and add emphasis to my opinion that this will not happen

 

to call me "childish" when responding to you politely saying that you should block me if you dont like it, is somewhat hypocritical since you are the one digging me up because my opinion doesnt chime with yours. 

 

to clarify, i do not specifically wish to impose any sort of self righteous authority and suggest the thread actually be closed. so instead of unnecessarily starting arguments, just block me. like you, i will lose no sleep over it, and have absolutely no interest in arguing with you about it. 

 

this is  a forum. i expressed my view. my view is that pogba will not sign for chelsea. should you feel that my comment is invalid simply because it is an opinion on the matter, then thats your prerogative. however, transfers go one of two ways:

 

1 - they happen

2 - they dont

 

ergo, i vote 2.

2 more pages before this reaches Neymar proportions and we can file under the ones that got away (or were not even close to happening in any case!).

If we don't get him this summer we wont get him at all, Barca can buy again next summer and have long earmarked Pogba as their next big signing.
