We have good defensive midfielders in Ramires and Matic, good attacking midfielders in Oscar, Willian, Hazard, Fabregas and Schurrle and also I would prefer to see some of our younger stars e.g. McEachran, Pasalic given a chance rather than spending 60 million pounds on Pogba

McEachern and Pasalic? Please! They aren't even in the top 5 players in our youth system. Piazon has been better by far on loan. It would seem that Jose rates Traore higher. Ake can play DM. Baker shows a lot more promise. Not to mention Thorgan.

I just can't see Pasalic ever playing in the first team and Josh's chances went when Carlos left.

So he deserves a shot but a young striker who has scored about 15 goals in the PL the last two years doesnt? Ok...

What about all of our other talented young midfielders that have had success on loan? Piazon, Chalobah, Thorgan, Atsu. The list goes on and on. Where are their chances?

He is written off right away because of how this club handles youth.
