Transfers done early in the season are the ones I like. They evidence a plan. Striker transfers are always a risk. Form and injury are the keys. Form is temporary but class is permanent. Injury kills talent

If you look at aguerro wonderful but injured. Torres never the same after his injury before joining Chelsea, falcao, a season at least lost.

Costa apparently is out with hamstring, just hope its minor. Otherwise he seems to be about the right age and probably has the talent and temperament to succeed at Chelsea.

We also need Oscar to develop. Once mata was sold Oscar went right off.

They really can't compete with wages back there can they. Currently a better team than us and the man chooses to leave.

It is going to be a long summer speculating about Lukaku and our other strikers if this deal actually goes through.

I hope he's better than Torres was for Liverpool. He spent a lot of time injured at Liverpool.

Doubt he will start for Spain mate.

His debut was terrible and he was hooked, just doesnt look comfortable in that set up.

Negredo has been quite poor in the second half of the season. Also, I think Costa chose Spain because he said Spain has done a lot for him.

He's not been given a chance really. Only really had second half sub appearances and coming back from injury.

No doubt his time in Spain made Costa choose them but from a footballing point I'm shocked he didn't go with Brazil.

I dont like him that much, and it will get even worse if he's the reason we're ditching lukaku. but what can i say, overall,  whats good for mou is good for me.
