Diego Costa to Chelsea

Mattia Destro is great the only thing that worries me is his injury. He had quite few of them. He had problems with his calves last season. Other than that he seems perfect, he's a very intelligent player for his age.

Really don't get why people keep saying stick Schurrle up top, he looked lost whenever he played there for us last season

Think it's because Drogba has looked very rusty when he has came on and doesn't look anywhere near ready enough to start a tough game like Everton.

I'd still stick him in, it's much better to have an actual centre forward up there rather than a winger

He's only played about 20 minutes.

Indeed and that's a worry in a high temp game at Goodison, I'd rather go with players who are up to speed than stick Drogba on and hope he somehow gets up to speed;

I did some reading into his history and it appears he's never suffered from anything serious like ligament damage.  He was set back by a series of unrelated and relatively minor injuries last season.  It seems he just had an unlucky season.  That said, I don't think we're getting him.  I really like the look of him but it appears Roma won't allow it.

I think 95% of this forum could write an article like this. And this guy gets paid to write the bleeding obvious. If costa gets injured we're in trouble? no sh*t. Lukaku against his old club will be interesting? no sh*t. Etoo against his old club is also interesting? No sh*t.

All these points were probably raised on the first page of the match day thread.

And it's going to look really great after Chelsea thrash Everton this evening!

Well their radio programme could easily be compared to the sound of an morbidly obese man straining on the toilet, so I wouldn't pay much attention to them.

Well, to compare his face to a dog & the other c**t says he looks like a gangster, calls for a lawyer, in my judgment.

It is the warm up show though if it had been Johnny Vaughn at the helm it would have been a whole lot worse :p

Is Costa going to have no 9 now

I did wonder this myself, would seem stupid not to let him have it, but annoying for all those kids (and grown up kids) who have Costa on their back with No.19!  :biggrin:
