October 3, 201411 yr I asked koppins if he gave a sh*t and he said f**k no bruh. Nutter is that one. Well no matter what happens Koppins, I love ya fella, you've been making me laugh since you've started taking drugs, which I assume was 3 days ago?
October 3, 201411 yr Its a strange choice of words isn't it? Basically pinning the blame on him for their failings. I dont recall us ever being so harsh with Torres, especially so soon. Towards the end Mourinho was obviously frustrated with him, but the club always tried to support him and keep face. Think the Torres Groundhog thread was not exactly supportive. And when did he leave, this summer? This links from Jan 13http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2260015/Fernando-Torres-jeered-Chelsea-fans-time.html Think his card was marked due to amount you paid for him, and without the instant impact he had for us. October 3, 201411 yr Yeah, fans on a forum slagging if a player 3 years in is exactly the same as his manager throwing balotelli under a bus. What a strange thing to say.
October 3, 201411 yr The Rodgers/Balotelli thing is odd because Rodgers signed the player 6 weeks ago. Just 6 weeks ago he thought Balotelli was a good signing. If that's NOT true, why did Rodgers sign him and spend 16 million on him, just 6 weeks ago? Rodgers' comments are probably better delivered privately to the player.
October 3, 201411 yr Would there be any interest in creating a former players thread? So we could follow the former players that we still enjoy or is there already an overarching thread to discuss this. I wanted to post about Kalou, and I did in the Bundesliga thread, but thought there should be some place better and I didn't want to go digging through the General Chelsea threads and find the Kalou archive from a few years ago.
October 3, 201411 yr "Dad takes son to football for first time..." Hahaha oh god... Looks like a scene from the new kids movie, Box Trolls! FYI don't ever let yourself get talked into seeing that film it's utter crap even for a kids film.
October 3, 201411 yr zero chance of Sterling going to Madrid IMO just Sterling's agent trying to earn his money Madrid would never buy Sterling and Sterling would never leave the relative comfort of Liverpool/London/England to move to Madrid .. it would be like Wayne Rooney moving to Madrid .. just wouldn't happen
October 3, 201411 yr Except Sterling wasn't actually born in the UK (I don't when he moved here). He's always struck me as being very passive about the whole media spiel in England. He could live in relative tranquility in Madrid. I wouldn't rule it out. Currently City are the only team that could get him/ would want him in England. Madrid though is the only club abroad that he would go to.
October 3, 201411 yr just catching up with this thread - you'd know it's a Friday a lot of you are on fire! - love the currency puns and the rodgers/moyes gif from the daily mirror is priceless. on Rodgers/Balotelli - seems to me Brendan is increasingly rattled by Liverpool's run of results and looking for someone to blame. I still believe Balotelli is a loose cannon and when Sturridge comes back and Mario finds himself on the bench there will be trouble in the Liverpool camp. It's only a matter of time before Stevie G gets pissed off with him and Mario realises that the move to Anfield marks the end of his career not a new beginning Really enjoying the season so far - keep it up scousers lol
October 3, 201411 yr I wondered why Madrid would need Sterling when they have a potential superstar in Jese Rodriquez who is still currently out injured at the moment.

You have to think he'll want to keep his options open if things don't improve at Anfield.
October 3, 201411 yr i can see Sterling at City - he's their type of player. You have to think he'll want to keep his options open if things don't improve at Anfield. Under the tutelage of greats like silva, Nasri and Yaya he'd grow into a real killer. World class stud
October 3, 201411 yr City don't need Sterling they have Scott Sinclair.. Hate to burst the sterling hype but Sinclair is better in every way except maybe finishing. Sterling is the product of paper talk and Liverpool hype
October 3, 201411 yr And they've got Michael Johnson, England's next great hope! Edited October 3, 201411 yr by Butterhampton FC
