The commentating team on the pool west brom match creamed themselves over Lallana's goal. Yeah it was a nice finish but the west brom defender was caught ball watching. You would have thought Zola just beat four players with skill moves and then scored his hat trick with talk like that

Berahino is the man!

Clearly outside the box too haha

Yeah, massive shame that

Sterlings ability in front of goal is absolutely woeful at times though, he looks like Gervinho, I think he's a good player but he still strikes me as that typical English player that has flair and speed at a young age then just doesn't develop and crashes out in his mid twenties.

I think you're being more than a little harsh on him. He's not just the next Lennon, SWP, etc. he seems to have more in his locker than players of that ilk. For large parts of last season he was played down the middle of the pitch which is a sign that his manager must believe that he has the requisite intelligence (a very understated quality in footballers) to impact games from there. At times he also seemed one of a small amount of English players truly comfortable with the ball at their feet - in fact the national team would greatly benefit by having more players like Sterling.

As I said, I refuse to believe the hype based on half a decent season, we've seen it before with Lennon, Townsend, Bentley, Johnson, SWP... More false dawns than exceptional talents.
