Quality play from Delph, also Chris Foy is the worst referee ever, literally. He has games where he will send anyone off for anything, and now he wont even give a yellow card for repeated bad challenges, what the hell even is this man.

I honestly don't understand it, it's like Norwich against Suarez.

 

They where glued to Aguero all game and handled him then they completely back off Toure like that.

I see it so many times. If you look at a lot of Toure's goals last season they come from players constantly backing off him. Eventually you have got to put a tackle in or he's just going to score.

Always rated him a bit higher as he seems to get goals in the big games as well.

Aguerro without injuries could be the best player in the PL.

Pardew is hanging on by a thread after today's comeback draw @ Swansea. If every match is going to be like this for the barcodes, they might as well sack him now. It's a shame cause I think he is a good fit for barcodes. It's just their fans have this crazy expectation of that club. What more do they think they are going to get?

Villa made that very difficult for us today. They really frustrated us and closed everything down very well. Silva is just an extraordinary player though. There isn't anything close to him in the league imo. Yaya took his goal brilliantly but he was off the pace again for most of the game. I think his problem has been Pellegrini playing him so deep to partner Fernandinho which negates what Yaya does best. Fernado will be a key player for us this season, giving Yaya the freedom he needs to push on. Sergio will score 30+ goals this season easily if we can just keep him fit.

 

Overall, not perfect but a very good, hard fought win against a very well drilled and determined Villa side... Over to you lads now, I think you have way too much for Arsenal. I predict a 1-2 and I'd be more than happy if they can hold you to a goalless draw.

Citeh made hard work of beating villa side we beat with ease last week...still these kind of wins keep teams in contention and give players belief...hopefully we can restore five point gap tomorrow

They've had unrealistically high expectations since Keegan got them in a title challenge. When Pardew got them 5th 3 years ago he set himself a high standard. It'll always be tough for them to break into the top 7, even though their fans think they should be challenging top 4.

Definitely, he's class, had he been fit last season City would have won the league by a landslide
