Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Featured Replies

God Arsenal fans are cringeworthy, now all I ever hear is how good Ozil was and that he's proven everyone wrong... dear lord.

Remember the 05/06 season when we were cruising it, and then had one or two stutters around spring time (lost to Fulham away, got spanked by Middlesbrough, drew away to Birmingham). At one point our lead was cut from 18 to 7 points, with Alex Ferguson proclaiming the following

"I've always said football is an extraordinary game and there are always surprises waiting ahead," he said. "This weekend could be pivotal if Chelsea lose any points [at Birmingham City]. If that happens it could be a real turning point.

"We can achieve that only by winning our own games but if we close the gap to six points when we still have Chelsea to play [on April 29] then you never know. We're playing extremely well and I'm very pleased with our form."

Indeed, we did draw against Birmingham, leaving our lead at 7 points- with tough looking games afterwards against Bolton away (good side in those days), and Everton and Man Utd at home.

We are currently 4 points ahead with 2 games in hand- so win one of the QPR/Leicester matches and we're in the same position as in 05/06, which we won by 8 points. This margin was achieved despite losing our final 2 dead rubber matches against Blackburn and Newcastle. Granted our 05/06 side was a machine, but then again that United side had Ronaldo/Rooney etc coming into form. Point being that we are in a very strong position, and despite nerves being understandable at this stage of the season with tough games to come, we do have huge margin for error.

Ah condescension, another classic.

Wheeling out all the hits tonight.

Top form.

I agree, I have nothing against anyone on this forum, but I wish people would stop being so dramatic and pessimistic. I would rather you keep those thoughts to yourself if you're going to be a buzz killer all the time.

He did f**k all today

Just like every other day, overrated isn't the word, such annoying fans, Arsenal and Liverpool have always been the most annoying when contending. Thank god it's a rare thing.

QPR will definitely concede. That's a given. CFC will have to keep going in terms of pressuring a QPR side who'll be high energy and physical.

It's very hard to imagine QPR beating CFC.

Stop been a dick

Care to explain how I'm being a dick when you've told me "don't like it don't read it" and questioned whether I know how a forum works?

No really, please do explain.

This is page no 1024. 1024 is of course the square of 32, which is the number of gameweeks we've been top of the league. None of this really means anything.

Well this is page 1025. If we multiply the 1 by the 0 that gives us 0, then we take the 0 from the result of the 5 - the 2 , that gives us 3. HL3 confirmed.

It's different to moan at people for worrying about the run in and you responding to my comments with smart arse comebacks. Yours are directed at me, there's are comments that you are picking at.

One, just one goal, against Burnley. They're trying to convince themselves.

And if you look at the goal they scored, they had some many lucky bounces off of Burnley players.

Oh I see, I'm a dick for saying people shouldn't be negative about Chelsea all the time on the Chelsea forum? And then having the bare faced cheek retort to your condescending remarks.

Gotcha, well I'll make sure to run my positivity by you in future to ensure I abide by your reasoning of how a forum works.
