Probably but if we were to go in for him, Jose (if he wants him this is) could persuade him to join us. Wouldn't be the first team we've snatched a player out from under a rivals nose.

I wouldn't think so, especially considering Jose claims he wants to start bringing through Loftus-Cheek and other youngsters, even with that said, Schneiderlin would be a direct replacement for Ramires and Draxler/Reus would be a replacement for Oscar. Varane would be good if possible but this is all hypothetical. If it isn't possible then I'm happy with Zouma/Terry partnership next season.

To be fair my suggestion of Schneiderlin and Reus/Draxler is a lot more realistic than some people's suggestions of Pogba and/or Bale.

There's no reason why we couldn't, it's not like we're buying a star player from Barca or Real, Dortmund are falling apart and Draxler's due a move to a big club.

Lived up to the hype as much as Oscar? We got rid of 2 quality players that play in his position and he's turning out to be a dud, he's actually regressed rather than got better.

Where did I mention Oscar? I didn't. I was talking about players like Jacquin, Simao etc who were massively hyped yet never made anything of themselves.

I don't want Draxler, but I also think there is no reason why we shouldn't strengthen our squad with Real, Barcelona, Bayern, Dortmund and Juventus players. I'm thinking there will be some good transfers from Real and Bayern should they be knocked out of CL this round as an example. Thiago, Martinez, Isco, Varane, Bale just to name a few of those that we should go for.

Well said!! A bit more depth in midfield would be nice though. A decent player to give him competition for his spot would be welcome. Maybe koke? I would also like to see a bit more of rlc and ake next season.
