I really really really like Sam Allardyce.

Makes two of us, I think he's been great for the Pre!ier League.

Really underrated as a manager at times, he's done respectfully well at every club he has been at, just look at how Newcastle and Blackburn fell apart after he left.

Considering the plaudits Harry Redknapp has received over the years you can't help but think Big Sam hasn't always had the fairest press.

Big Same isn't an idiot, he knows what he's doing. 

 

It was the same as when West Ham got the 0-0 away to us last season and after the game he proclaimed that Jose was just whinging when he made the 19th century football comment because he had "out tacticed" him. 

 

It's what he does, in the aftermath of a game he makes some pretty witty, sharp tongued comments about the opposition and it can work in getting their backs up... Certainly done a number on LVG.

It seemed more of a swipe at Allardyce's critics and their double standards than anything else. United can boot it long and no one says a word. Bolton boot it long and it's route one death of football. He was just making a point, and it was tongue-in-cheek.
