Definitely win it at SB against Liverpool would be amazing.

Lock their fans in too so they had to suffer watching JT hoist the trophy :-D

The closest their fans will ever get to the EPL trophy in all fairness.

Wining it at SB would be great but first things first i think we need to actually concentrate on winning a game there first! Havent won our last 3 at home. Fingers crossed we sort that right out a week on Sat.

It's possible that we win the league before that game, or possibly win it on that day.

If that happens what do you think happens with the Liverpool away support? Do they actually turn up?

The support and Gerrard would get some relentless abuse that day if it happened. It would quite possibly be the most hilarious thing to happen in the history of the Premier League. It would be made all the better if Sourness, Redknapp and Carjacker were the Sky pundits for the day.

I think a few of them would kill themselves right there and then by burning their "Gerrard" Liverpool replica shirt whilst still wearing it.

If we just assume for worst case scenario, that our rivals win every game from here on in (they won't, but lets pretend).

IF then, we win the next 6 games (massive ask), all we would need is a draw at home to Liverpool to secure it that very day!

Or, if we won 5 and drew 1 before the Liverpool game, beating them that day would win the title.

I really hope its the latter!!

If not, put a bet on City at 18/1 or Arsenal at 30/1.

I for one, am confident. It's easily above 90% that we'll get it.

Yep: 91.7% implied probability of Chelsea winning the title, according to the latest odds.

I'm confident. Even if City complete a perfect finish (which they won't) we'll need 6 wins from our last 9 with a greater goal difference than City. Put differently, in the worst case scenario, we'll need to win 66% of our games. As of January of this year, Mourinho's win record in the Premier League was 69.8%. That doesn't include additional points that we usually pick up from draws. Plus, taken on a game-by-game basis, we have very winnable games left in Stoke (H), QPR (A), Leicester (A), Palace (H), West Brom (A), and Sunderland (H).

We would have to perform considerably below our average points-per-game (PPG) for this season, and our longer-term average PPG. Meanwhile, City, Arsenal, or United, would have to substantially outstrip their respective PPG from this season so far. United must still play City and Arsenal have to play United, so our rivals will take points away from each other.

It's possible that everything could go wrong. But, unlike Han Solo, only a likely scenario will cause me to lose confidence.

I had a dream this morning Chelsea won PL in the beginning of May.

On the side note. I live in USA east coast. Today I met some guy from London that asked me for direction. He said he's Everton fan but after I told him I support Chelsea for many years now he have me that evil look.

I noticed it happens a lot when I mention I'm a Chelsea fan to people who are from England. I didn't met too many Chelsea fans except for a few of Americans among 2 kids.

One day I met 8 year old kid wearing Torres jersey. He was so proud wearing it.

Definitely win it at SB against Liverpool would be amazing.

This...oh f**king most defiantly this

It would be orgasmic to win the title at SB vs the dippers, the closest Slippy G will ever get to a League Title  :laugh2:

I would rather win it a game before then. Liverpool would have to do the guard of honour and that is something i would love to see and something i know the Liverpool fans would hate to see.

City are a minor threat and Arsenal are not even close. We have 3 big teams left to play. Arsenal, United and Liverpool. United and Arsenal are hitting form and liverpool have only lost 1 of their last 10+ matches. Will be a tough run in, we have to brush off the small teams and step it up Vs the Big ones. Lets hope the international break can sort our players out a little.

While winning this home to Liverpool would be fantastic. I prefer to just get'er done as quickly as possible. In regards to the Liverpool replica, I bought one at the night bizarre in Chang Mai for a friend who supports Liverpool about 3 years ago. Cost about $8 USD.

He wore it a few times before washing it knowing it would unravel in the wash on the first try. It did on the second wash right about when slippy Stevie unraveled their title hopes last season. Timing was impeccable and to this day we both laugh. Well I laugh with tears and he actually cries. He claims he ordered me a cheap Chinese knock off for the finale but I have yet to receive it nor will I accept. To be fair, he is an honest friend and has called Chelsea to win it all since November.

Let's just wrap this up as quickly as possible is my vote!

People are worried about Utd catching up? What the f**k? Their games are not easy at all and there are just 8 games left.

Time for a perspective: As much flak as we have been getting these days, we have still picked up 14/18 points and 21/27. If that is not a form of title winning team in last week of March, I don't know what is. We will of course win the title.

So City and Arsenal are a minor threat at most but we have to step it up in our tough run in if we want to win?

It's a bit contradictory.

Give him the chance to hold the trophy saying "here`s what you could of won" then snatch it away as he reaches out "but we don`t want to give you that"..........then punch him.

I know,i know........the first bit is a bit ridiculous.

I wonder if Gerrard does regret not joining us when he looks back on his career. Don't know about anyone else but I'm glad he didn't.

Well he won the CL with his hometown club which I'd imagine just about tops everything in football other than winning the World Cup.

He will probably regret the fact he's never won the league and with us he'd arguably have had one or more CL and EPL medals in his locker.

I don't like him and never have but back then he was a fantastic midfielder and he'd have made us a stronger team IMO especially when Essien got crocked.

I doubt either party has huge regrets about it tbh. We have won it all and he's a prick while he got to win the biggest trophy of club football with his horrible club.

I honestly think winning the league would have meant more to him than the Champions League. Well remember we signed Essien instead of Gerrard we wouldn't have had room for both. I was glad we got Essien.

I'm glad too but we only got a few seasons out of Essien before he was crocked, Gerrard was one of the top midfielders in Europe for 5-6 years IMO.

He'd have been a huge success here.

I'm not sure mate the CL meant more to me than any League win I have witnessed, it's the most important trophy in club football. I know I'd rank it above the league.

Gerrard may have hindered Lamps who was vital in all of our success, I'm chuffed to bits he never came, don't think we'd have won half of it.

And there you have it, group dynamics make or break!

Confident..  Totally.
They wont win all their games (due partly to playing each other !! Lol) and we just wont lose enough games (having only lost two so far all season) for them to catch us..
Champions come May.. Confidently spoken !!
