Im very happy that we've won the title, but the important thing is maintaining this great team. Oscar as we know for the past 2 seasons has faded the 2nd half of the season which is a complete waste, and ramires is also getting slower and less useful. They also have reasonable value to them, therefore cashing in on them will be useful to sign other players that give us more depth in areas

No been a football fan you enjoy these moments, it's up to Jose to look ahead. Just enjoy these moments you don't know when you're gonna get to experience them again.

Keep them both another season, Oscar needs to bulk up and is great when he is on song, he just needs to be more consistent to force his name on the team sheet more often than not. Ramires has an engine that is always useful to a team like ours..

To be fair to the guy, he's discussing it in the rumours thread so I don't see the need to jump on his back, I know he posts it elsewhere but get on to him there, personally I agree with him, if Oscar & Ramires went I wouldn't be very upset about it if we got decent money for them.

I agree with you Scott on most things mate but for some people looking to the future is part of being a fan, I'm buzzing we won the league but I get excited for the transfer windows as well to see who we'll bring in, I buy FIFA every year despite it getting continually worse just so that I can play as us with the new squad, to me that's part of being a fan, I've posted it elsewhere that I think this will be a big summer for us with 2 or 3 world class players coming in.

I can completely understand that but you would think that on the day that we win the title he would talk about something else other than who we should be selling.

Mourinho sees depth as an issue. He's right - we need more players for a run.

 

He avoided squad rotation this year for the most part. Will be interesting to see how he goes about business this summer..

When was the last time the club had a quiet summer? Maybe the season Mourinho left the first time around (when Pizarro, Sidwell and Ben Haim were the arrivals). Always very exciting summers for a Chelsea fan. Love the way transfer dealings have been going recently, too. Short and sweet. Not too many drawn out sagas (excluding Hazard of course).

I cant see us selling many players. Cech will leave for obvious reasons, Drogba will likely retire, Remy may leave to get more game time. There is the possibility of one of mikel or ramires leaving to make space for RLC and a new signing. This will be it, we would be silly to sell the regular starters that achieved what they did this year. Jose will be looking for players as good as our starting 11 to fill these spaces so we can rotate more. The importance of our signings this summer if we want to compete for UCL as well will be so we can have many squad variations without sacrificing quality.

I personally would like to see either 1 of or both lacazette and griezmann to come in, perfect players to both back up costa and play in our attacking trio. I can also see a signing in midfield, schnederlin would be a good signing.

Solanke is not ready, he should either continue in the youth team or go out on loan. Bamford has been good, but in the championship, if middlesborough get promoted another season there would be a good idea, if not maybe loan him to a mid table prem side, he will just be wasted on the bench here, another season on loan would be better for his development than being our third choice. Ake i'm a fan of and could perhaps be used a bit more, especially in league and fa cup, i just think perhaps there is only room for one of ake and RLC in main rotation.

Don't get me wrong, im loving this moment. But the best part of the end of the season is always the summer transfer window and seeing how we can improve our squad. If you don't like to think about that, then fair enough

I wasn't impressed with Willian as a number 10 today against Crystal Palace. He dosen't have the vision for a key pass and takes to many touches. I prefer Fabregas and Oscar over him in that position.

 

Would like to see some more games with Costa or Remy instead of Drogba to really gauge it though.

True, he is a good midfielder and a good full back. If he was only able to play one position he just wouldnt get used enough. Being as versatile as he is he can be a handy squad player.

Exactly yeah, whenever we get injuries he will be able to fill the void more times than not.
