Report in the DM that Juventus are very interested in Ramires and Draxler

 

 

According to reports in Italy Ramires is on the verge of joining the Serie A champions, as they try and replace the likes of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo in the centre of midfield.

Ramires plugs too many gaps and we don't have a replacement lined up either.

 

 

If they are trying to replace those two the fee might just be generouse enough. I don't realy see Rami as a key player in the squad. (think jose see's it different though)

If we lose Rami we either play RLC or buy a replacement. Anyway it would leave our MF light.

Judging by some posters on this forum you must not buy and always use youth. Im just waiting for Colkett, and Chalobah to be mentioned as "ready made" replacements if he goes.

I'd stick money on the replacement, if bought, being Witsel

If RLC is going to be Ramires replacement, then I have to say yes. It also depends on how much Juventus will offer.

Wow....Ramires is sh*t? I have no words other than watch some football mate

While clearly not sh*t, I do find him frustrating and personaly would have him as about 5th choice in center mid.

Ramires doesnt suck. Hes not particularly good either. What he does offer is something nobody in our squad currently do. Problem is that skillset is best utilized when we are trying to shut down an opponent and play on defense. When we are looking to break through a defense or control the ball is close to useless. Hes so limited on the ball and is so inconsistent that at sometimes its like playing with 10 men. Hes a useful player though and unless its a very good offer and we actually have someone lined up we habe no incentive to sell really

Which Sissoko?

Im a big fan of Wanayama, not quite as good as Essien was but then again, nobody is. Id settle for Tiote as well.

 

Moussa Sissoko... Wanyama is perhaps a 'better' pivot centre mid but for me lacks Sissoko's versatility, i.e. can play as a defensive RW, box to box mid, has a better goal scoring rate than Ramires (if last season is anything to go by)... and unlike Fab can handle the physical side of the game
