Chelsea in keen to sign Mario Gotze from Bayern Munich after joining Arsenal and Manchester United in the race, according to reports.

Gotze, whose agent slammed Bayern’s management team this week, has been strongly linked with a transfer away from Germany this summer.

Arsenal are long-term admirers while United have been linked, and now the Daily Express says Chelsea are keen.

It’s believed they’d be happy to take the £49.6million star to Stamford Bridge if he does indeed decide to move away.

Jose Mourinho was linked with Gotze several times while at Real Madrid and is thought to be a fan.

What do you guys think? Worth it?

Neither are any good

One can hope right? I personally think that he is amazing. Guardiola hasn't a clue. He completely ruined that Bayern team. I swear, as long as Messi is happy, Barcelona can do anyone.

Their success really didn't hinge so much on him as the media would like us tyo believe (IMO). Barcelona were doing really good before him as well. Plus, it helped they had 3 of the top 4 players in the world who played with each other from an early age.

Metro and express awful.  Paul Joyce at the express is good but for Liverpool related stuff.

Both papers find a rumour, word their own story from it, but it is basically a write up about a rumour theyve read... in a way, and theyre clickbait bar stewards

Bit bored of Beasley saying no to all our so called targets.

If he's right it's going to be a pretty poor summer

He shoots down all our mentioned targets bar Begovic and that left back Baba.

So basically we are going to sign those two and no one else then am guessing lol.

Beasley is a click-bait troll whose 'major announcements' are either stating the obvious or pure guesswork

He really isn't. He's a troll no doubt about it, but when he makes a statement like 'chelsea won't sign player x' he's usually spot on. The info comes directly from Jose

That surprises me as whenever I've taken his word, its eight times out of ten wrong, though I will hold my hands up if others have had a better experience.

You need to wade through his bullsh*t and pick out the gems. If he has a news on a whatever that may be he'll announce it like its a major signing. Case in point a few days ago when he tweeted a series of cryptic messages alluding to a signing which turned out to be Jose and the backroom staff. He wont ever bullsh*t, but he'll exaggerate small news to make it appear like its something major. If he states something as fact, ie 'chelsea will not sign player x' ive never seen him proved wrong. However he is a troll for the way he drip feeds his news no matter how big or small, thats why you have to sift through his antics

There is a list of media sources that should be dismissed as pure nonsense when it comes to transfer news. Metro, People, Daily Star and Daily Express are useless rubbish. I can't remember any of them ever being proven right on any of the rumours they're spouting unless they just repeat something that more reliable papers printed beforehand. If they're the ones 'breaking the news', it's almost a guarantee it's a made up crap that has nothing to do with reality. Working for those tabloids must be the easiest money making scheme you could imagine.

agreed. he's reasonably close with Jose and has come up with several calls which have been bang on. He trolls hard but when it's a statement of fact then it's almost always right.

cant think of any time he has been miles wide, and im pretty sure he was on it when Jose was coming back in 2013

Götze is massively overhyped. I hope this rumour is bollox.

Always interesting how people see things so differently, I think he's stunning
