Just for the record, I'm sure Arsenal fans and the media are all saying how Wenger finally beat Mourinho, in a couple of months will people still that? He has still never beaten Mourinho when it matters, in the premier league.

Does pre season even count and lets not forget it is pre-season we have another friendly with Florentina before the season even starts 

People talking about classy this and classy that. Seems to me like some of you are desperate to be liked by opposition fans. Newsflash: they will never like us even we invent a cure for cancer and donate all our revenue to charity. Talk about missing the point. Taking the high moral ground is the epitome of not giving a f**k, just doing it in a grown up way and not getting all pissy and childish over it.

I thought that was the best we've played all pre-season. Granted we weren't great by any means but we're slowly getting there. Some of the players are clearly a bit rusty but I think we'll be just about ready for Swansea in 6 days' time. We really need to get Baba Rahman signed soon though as we have only 5 defenders at the moment.

Petr had a point to prove today and certainly proved it. However, he's certainly fell out of favour with me personally for the way he conducted himself, very cocky and laughing and smiling at everything we did.

Oh do get over it. He's at a new club now. Do you expect Fabregas to mope around if he does well against Arsenal?

I thought Cech was pretty good actually. Came and shook hands with the whole bench and conducted himself very well.

It probably doesn't, but I had the radio on and they were turining it in to a big deal, which was pretty funny.

We just weren't at it today, 2nd to every ball and looked very slow and ponderous, hopefully we can shake of the rustiness for the game against Swansea.

Wahey! I would have liked to see Moses start today instead of Ramires. I think he's earned his shot preseason.

Bit worrying that Costa is injured already. It was his goals in the first part of last season that gave us the momentum to win the league.

Without Costa we had to rely on Hazard and the odd defender chipping in.

Our goal scoring threat from elsewhere is virtually non-existent. I'll be amazed if any of Oscar, Willian, Moses, Cuadrado get more than a handful of goals.

Not sure if we can grind our way to the league over an entire season. But that's what it looks like we might have to do.

Griezmann is an option if we're in need of goals.

I saw an arsenal fan post on facebook: Wenger 4 trophies vs Mou 2 trophies, since he was called a specialist in failure...ffs they will be putting kinder eggs and toffee apples in the trophy case next..

Falcao looked decent movement wise and was involved in the link up play but he still looks like bambi..he looks clumsy with the ball.

Happily give him time but not convinced he will transform.

At half time I wasn't happy at all but a much better second half performance where we bossed the game gave me optimism we will be fine.

Worried that without Costa we may be a bit toothless and Jose may need to buy a striker in the peak of his powers.

Plus's for me were Willian, Cahill, Oscar and Zouma.

Remy Falcao Dave, hazard and Ivan were all well off the pace.

I'll get over this pretty quickly, no big deal, as long as when the 19th of September comes we hit them so hard they turn into rainbow dust and friendly intentions 

Disappointing to lose but thought we played ok in patches. They looked quicker than us on the break - we were a bit too methodical and not decisive enough.

 

Not a lot in it to be honest and it was an excellent finish by Ox to win it.

 

Mourinho will be hurting and that won't be a bad thing and hopefully the boys react for when it really starts to matter - Next Week.

The good thing about Jose is that it doesn't matter your status at the club, if you're having a bad run you'll be dropped. Whether you're the captain or the highest earning player.
