What's worrying is that if Costa's not fit - we're absolutely toothless. We have done nothing to resolve this during the summer.

Arsenal won it the way we've won so many over them the past several years. Overall, I think we outplayed them, but only the scoreboard matters.

As soon as Cech was allowed to go to Asenal, you could see the clean sheet coming.

Let's hope it won't be the same in the PL - that's what really matters.

I think this particular defeat was good, it will leave a bitter taste in the players mouths and they won't like it one bit and hopefully it will stir the fire in their bellies for the season to come especially against this scum..

The same outcome as many of us have predicted since season end and even before.

We need someone beside Matic. Vidal would have been perfect. Veratti is a player too.

We need a right sided attacker as Willian looks very uncomfortable there and Oscar has stagnated massively over the last year. No progression whatsoever.

I also think Dave has to move to right back and a left back signed. Dave done nothing wrong but each season Ivan is regressing and it's painful to watch.

Address these and we will spank this league again. We have Jose and could win the league with this team, however it won't be anywhere near last season and we all know it.

Meh couldn't really care less about the game, just disappointed we looked so toothless against a poor side. Really need to work on how we use the ball going forward IMO, the players we have should be creating much better/clearer chances.

 

p.s. why are people getting so worked up on here? I haven't seen any over the top complaints. There's clearly areas in the squad and playing style that need work, people are just pointing that out for the most part.

We lacked some sharpness that's all. They had one decent shot that went in, that's about it.

Willian looked good as did Rami, so let's take those positives and move forward. The season is a marathon, not a sprint and we all know what happens to Arsenal over any distance... [emoji43]
