Chelsea being left behind?

I think the problem is we haven't improved the squad. There is not many behind the 'first XI' that JM trusts, and he is right because they are not good enough. Check games against Fiorentina in Pre-season and Bradford in FA Cup last year.

There is a lack of competition in the squad, and too many players know no matter how they play, they will be in the team the following week, if fit.

It seems we have to sell to buy, and shifting the likes of Mikel & Cuadrado for decent money is harder than first thought. And with our new reputation of being able to do great business, we are giving nothing away.

F me, we are only a few days into the new season, 1 game down and the whole fookin media and a lot of posters on her have written the club's chances off because they didn't spunk 200 mill

in the transfer market, I do think improvements to the squad could be  made by a 2 or 3 QUALITY new faces coming in, attack, mid & defence, but to say we are up the proverbial creek without a paddle is BOLLOX

We are either buying success or being left behind, can't win these days either way  We only played 1 match this season, for heaven sake.

I would like another option in the final second, however if Jose believes the current squad is strong enough, I'm happy to trust his judgement.

Think the thing with that is, JM isnt happy with the squad.

I can't seem to figure out the reason we hardly see youngsters and fringe players get first team playing time...

Is it because of Jose's seemingly short term mentality (that he's possessed his entire managerial career) or because Roman wants to win trophies every year so Jose feels pressure whether it's implicit or explicit?
