Not sure if anybody has commented on this yet but the amount of tourists in the shed yesterday was painful. There was 2 yanks in ice hockey shirts ffs!! How do we expect to create an atmosphere when every other "supporter" seems to be foreign. It's bad enough we are playing sh*t but to have people next to u who don't care if we win or lose makes it worse!! All these people care about is if they get a photo of themselves on Facebook at the bridge.

I think everyone is forgetting about Daniel Sturridge why the hell did we sell him, he is quality as he's proven at Liverpool.

Lotus cheek has to play against villa he was the best player on the park against tel aviv a real box to box midfielder, Dave needs to at right back as he's a right footed player and Rahman at left back, for me Gary Cahill has been spent for 2 years he's not Chelsea quality zouma and John for me, Costa is back so that should give us a boost.

Pity is we should have been sitting around there

The result at The Emirates suggests nobody is going to win PL by 8 points this time round

Dont understand the loan business too Ake, Kalas, Moses, piazon these players could have been easily chipped in the current squad when regulars are not performing well.

We all feel terrible...

What you guys think of this:

January transfers:

Buy neves,

Buy brahimi,

Buy lucas moura.

Players who have pace and direct.

Summer transfers:

If hazard continues with this poor form sell him and try to get bale as swap.

Buy pogba.

Buy gondugan

Sell oscar ,

Sell cesc.

Sell mikel

Relsease terry to coaching role.

Release ivanovic

That will depend on how consistent City are or not. They should blow everyone else away given our struggles. That is the least that 120mill odd they spent should do.

Brahimi (44 mln pounds), Neves (29 mln pounds) and Moura (68 mln pounds) in January? Thats some 143 mln pounds in January!!! No way is Porto going to dismantle their squad midseason, while PSG has no motivation to sell below the contract price.

The only way those players are all coming in January is if we buy them out with the contract clause price.

De bruyne was awesome against newcastle yesterday!

When he was selling promising talents like de bruyne, lukaku and our best player mata it hurt, but we were doing well at the time so it was ok. Now we desparately need more quality in depth and we don't have it. These sales have bit mourinho on the arse. If he just rotated more he would be able to keep more than just 11 top players happy and would have a lot more options for when there are form or.

Conversely we may not have won anything by doing that.

All this talk of keeping those players is pointless and fantasy. All three of the above wanted to start every week, a position only one had earned. At the time none of them fit into our plans and kerping them around 'in case' wouldnt have helped or satisfied them. They could get games for us now, sure. But then again there are loads of players who could do that atm.

Is the financial fair play us restricting how on earth man city do what ever they want?

OK. Lets put it this way: Do you think Abramovic is ready to throw 150 mln pounds on transfers in January? I sincerely doubt it.

I do not see why he would not be, they curbed his spending due to FFP. If that is now gone I can see Roman throwing his cash around again. We just have to make sure is on the right players.

solution is not just buy buy buy , because in last few years even after buying good players we end up loaning them or selling them. What we dont have is a cleaver rotation system, keeping players happy by motivating them through vision, their chance to shine will come, just have the patience ! building the patience among the players is the key ! we need some psychologists there in the team sqad

I second this. Mourinho would preferably just keep playing the same 11 players. Meanwhile would it really hurt if Mourinho rotated the fullbacks to bring Baba Rahman into the game. We had 12 games, each of Azpi, Ivanovic and Baba Rahman could have started 8 (sensible playing time, every one is happy and no one is overused). If Azpi + Ivanovic is Mourinho preferred duo than he could have played them during the big games. If someone plays a bit worse than the others than play him less often or substitute with youth player.

Is it really that hard?

Well, now mourinho got the backing of the club board, he was told to salvage the season without big spending in the summer.

The funny thing is mourinho said that he will quit if he loses the backing of the players which i think already happened.

What you guys think?

Do any of us mortals really know what the players think about him. We can only speculate. I'm sure like most teams the players who get chopped and changed may be a bit pissed off in general.

I think the truth is Jose hasn't managed at grass roots level (not a problem) and has no comprehension of what being in the bottom half does to you mentally. He has never in his career had to deal with this. I think he is struggling to cope with this but what do I know. What I do know is blaming the ref for that performance on Saturday cut no ice with us supporters.

Ladies and gents although Saturday's match, except for Willian's goal, had little or no redeeming values

do you think we (apologies to non Brits) would have seen off the Hun three times last century (WW1, WW2 & Wembley 66) with this appalling defeatist attitude?  - No we f'in wouldn't have !!

its a 1/5th of the season gone, if 4/5ths  then I would too probably hit the panic button, but there's a lot of matches to go and we can see the league becoming more competitive before our eyes

unfortunately we all know that if things don't turn around quickly, starting against pathetic Villa then RA will act

why not give the manager a chance and get behind him and the team as

- none of us know what is really going on until someone that knows in the camp talks openly and honestly (so far in 11 yrs of ownership neither owner's staff or playing staff have said a word, and sacked managers must have signed pay off confidentiality agreements)

- harping on about how damn good so and so is at whatever club and Chelsea shouldn't of sold them is pointless, didn't seem to be too upsetting last May

Come on Chelsea !!!

Mourinho started as a high school coach....

Head in the sand only works for so long though.

Ivanovic will definitely be starting, Mourinho has already stated why he will pick Ivan over Baba, Baba is apparently too small and needs time to adapt, I don't care about either of those things, he needs to play regardless. Mourinho's stubbornness has just turned in to stupidity.

Someone needs to show Mourinho a clip of the so-called great-in-the-air Ivanovic grabbing Van Dyke from Southhampton with both hands on a free kick in the first half, basically trying to rip the jersey from Van Dyke's torso, and ask Mourinho if that is what he is talking about regarding having someone good in the air.  to me, it is unbelievable how the referee missed that blatant penalty, probably more of a penalty than Ramires' stupid foul  that was not called at the top corner of the penalty box in that match.  How Mourinho can cry about calls not going our way in that match is beyond me!
